Slimline Christmas
Hello Crafting Friends,
Today I am sharing a few last minute Christmas cards. I made the background with distress oxide inks and blended them together. I then used a My Favorite Things stencil with white brilliance ink for the snowing look. I then used a slimline die to cut the in the portholes and filled them with Lawn Fawn images, they are all coloured with copic markers.

Magic Lantern
Welcome to the last challenge for 2020, the CCEE Stampers team is having a short break before recommencing in the new year.
For the CCEE2050 challenge, Hostess Lynn is asking that your cards reflect a seasonal light of hope and promise for a brighter new year. It can be represented by a candle, the lights on a Christmas tree, the star of Bethlehem, or any other light that comes to mind.
Magic and Hope is my inspiration for this card, a guided light thought the forest is what is needed to see us through the rest of the year.
I started with white card and using the Misti stamp press I stamped the background of trees, in one ink and then sponged on another colour and re-stamped it, to add different shades to the trees. I then positioned the Fairy and stamped it in black ink. I created a circle but die cutting it in acetate and sponged in the light. I then used a torn paper stencil and ink to ground the fairy and sponged the edges. The white card was a quite stark background for the trees so using a stencil I added some blue ink to create the illusion of clouds.

Distress snowflakes
Hi Crafting Friends, this is my card for the Crazy4Challenges theme challenge A Blue Christmas.
A Blue Christmas … take inspiration from the song that Elvis used to sing and create a Christmas card which includes the color blue in it. Don’t celebrate Christmas … just make a card that includes blue.
To make my card I started with Gina K Snowflake Mandala Stencil and distress oxide inks tumbled glass, speckled egg and chipped sapphire and heat set it. I then sponged the edges with Hickory smoke distress ink and again heat set it.
I then used the concord & 9th snowflakes turnabout stamp set and white heat embossed it. For some dimension I added four layers of the Ultimate crafts - On Blitzen die. I also added the Karen Burniston Merry Christmas sentiment die.

Shaking it up
Hi Crafting Friends,
My card today is made for the CCEE Stampers blog design team challenge.
Wrap It Up! For this challenge make use of the Christmas wrapping paper of your choice as a part of your holiday design. Grab up some paper scraps from your gift-wrapping adventures and join us in this week's challenge.
I found this leftover roll of wrapping paper is the cupboard. I thought the stars would make a good night time background. I don't know about you but when I have to buy wrapping paper I always choose one that I can repurpose for card ideas.
It has been sometime since I made a shaker card, I am trying out the Lawn Fawn snow globe scenes and the snow globe scene shaker die for my focal point.
I wasn't sure that I wanted a sentiment so I added the the die cut Santa & sleigh, On Blitzen from Ultimate crafts.

Tie one on and take a hike
Hi Crafting friends,
Welcome to today's challenge card with the CCEE Stampers blog design team.
Today is Tie One On Day. Create a card using something that’s tied (apron strings, shoelaces, bow tie, ribbons in the hair, etc. Alternate is to use ribbon/twine/etc anywhere on your card – or both combined!
When I first saw this challenge the work laces stuck in my mind, I have had this MFT All Star high top di- namics die set for quiet some time, so it is great to be able to use it for this challenge. The die fits perfect into the popular slimline card designs.

Dear Santa
It is beginning to look like Christmas for the design team on The CCEE Stampers Blog. Our challenge is to create a Christmas card.
Dear Santa …. It’s *Dear Santa Letter Writing Week*. Create a card showcasing a letter to Santa. Maybe your image shows a critter or child or even an adult writing a Christmas wish list or letter to Santa.
I have had this stamp for quite a few years, but it is a Christmas favourite and perfect for this challenge.

Black Cat Awareness
Today is challenge day with the CCEE Stampers blog design team.
October is Black Cat Awareness month, incorporate a cat of any color on your card this week.
Earlier this month I saw the video tutorial by Eileen Godwin using Lavinia Stamps and stencils. I love the Lavinia stamps range but I didn't have any of their stencils, so I gave it a try with a stencil I did have.
I love the way this turned out and can't wait to play with some more with stencils.

Copper Haunting Highlights
This card is for the Crazy4Challenges design team challenge.
Create your card using copper accents. Maybe some copper embossing, mirror cardstock, metal embellishments like paperclips, brads, sequins, eyelets or gems.
I have been playing with my glass mat and distress oxide ink pads to create this background for this card. After I was happy with the pattern I added some copper paint speckling with a wet paint brush. I then stamped the tree branch. Using the Lawn Fawn build a house die, and cut it out of stone designer paper and decorated it with the Halloween add on. I also added the copper paint to highlight the black card to look like timber embellishments. I then added the ghosts, bat and spider.
