Two Peas

For this card I thought I would use some things that I purchased last year. Something that is on my wish list is a set of speech bubble dies, but I am not really happy with the ones I have seen so far so I decided to create my own using a decorative edge die.

Supplies
MFT die-namics blueprints 5, brackets edge die-namic. Art Impressions Laughing set, copic pens, foam dots, ds tape.

This card has been sent out for the Boomerang Stampers List special sister challenge.

Bleached out images

Welcome to another week for the CCEE Stampers Challenge. This is Vicky's last week of Challenges and it has been great I have learnt new techniques and revisited old ones, I hope that you have too.
Today's Challenge CCEE1505 in Bleached out Images. Vicky has included a linked tutorial which explains this technique very well.

My tip for this technique is to make sure that you use a fresh bottle of bleach, even a bottle that you have had for awhile will loose it's effectiveness. Make sure you test your card to make sure that you are happy with the bleached colours.

I started with my main image Hero Arts Large flower background and stamped it with black distressed ink and clear embossed it. Then using a paint brush apply the bleach to the area I wanted, the results are instant. I have used chocolate card and I love the beautiful yellow tones which I then added shading with copic pens. I also added the green copics for the leaves. A bit of ribbon and some layers and the card is done.

Silhouette with sentiments

Vicky's Challenge today on CCEE Stampers is to use a Silhouette with a sentiment on the front. Now I had to really search for my silhouette stamps, it has been that long since I have used one.

For my main image I used an old wood mounted Penny Black daisy stamp, it was one of my first Penny Black stamps and I see now that you can purchase the coordinating die for it. All my inks are Ranger Distressed inks. The sentiment is from KaiserCraft and the mesh in the background is a clear unmounted of unknown origin.

Stamp etching

Here we are again the 3rd week into the new year and time for another CCEE Stampers, our challenge this week is Stamp Etching, I have never heard of this so I was glad Vicky included the link to the tutorial, your can find it here.

My Stamped image is Hero Arts Clings dotted flowers set. I added some gem stones to the center of each flower and a bit of a gem stone flourish.
I had so much fun and I love the way that this card has turned out, I think I will be using this technique again.

Why don't you go on over to CCEE Stampers blog and see what all of the other team members creations.

In Memory

Today on CCEE Stampers Vicky asks us to create a card in the memory of her Mother.
For my main image I pulled out a very old PSX rose stamp from my supplies, it was one of my first must haves 15 years ago.
For the base card I used the Cheery Lynn step dies.

Here is a side view with trick lighting once again.

A little bird told me

Happy New Year Everyone.
Welcome to the first CCEE Stampers challenge of 2015. We have a great list of challenge in store for this year for lots if inspiration don't forget to bookmark our blog.
Our hostess this month is Vicky Gould. Vicky asks that we create a card spotlighting a bird. I just happened to have this cute little bird coloured and ready to go.

The base card was created using the Sizzix stand up die created by Stephanie Barnard, I also used the happy birthday die from Elizabeth Craft designs.

Here is the card flat for postage, truly it is that same card but it seems that the camera picked up the green background and it changed the colours.
