Christmas scene

The last challenge this month on CCEE Stampers is Let's make a Christmas and/or Winter card.
Well we are always wishing to see snow at Christmas but that isn't likely to happen, so it is great to create a winter Christmas card. I thought it was a good opportunity to use Stampendous Cling Winter Friends, it come with the background stencil.

Enjoy your day

This week on CCEE Stampers the challenge is to follow the list.

 Include on your card:
One (1) animal
Two (2) layers
Three (3) colours (plus neutrals -- black, white, gray -- if you wish)

I started with my stamped image, created a reverse circle mask with printer paper, sponged the clouds with through a stencil and coloured the image with copic pens. My colours are blue, orange, green and my mouse is shades of gray.

Have a Bee-utiful day

It is Challenge time with the team from Crazy 4 Challenges and Raquel has this weeks challenge.

Let's make this really easy or it could be hard.  Put ANY 10 things on your card, it can be buttons, brads, die cuts, layers of card stock, flowers, rhinestones, etc.  The items could also be a stamped image that has 10 things on it.

The front of my card is just a normal card front but it hides a surprise inside, a busy bee hive with 10 bees buzzing around.
I started by creating a stencil in acetate with the honeycomb die  and used wild honey distress ink, just moving the stencil to complete the background.
I used the pop stand from the Eiffel Tower pop stand and attached the beehive. I added a black piece of honeycomb and my bees were made with the Bee dies and the small bees are peel off stickers with warm diamond micro fine glitter. The small bee flying out of the beehive was attached with acetate before attaching the hives together.
The sentiments were stamped on pieces cut with the Anita Frames and Labels.

Here is the front and the back photos as some of the bees are hidden when you look from the one angle. Just follow the link here for Karen Burniston's tutorial on how to use the Eiffel tower pop stand.

Supplies:
Karen Burniston designs - Eiffel Tower pop stand - Anita Frames Pop up -  Labels & Circles

warm diamond Micro fine glitter, copic pens, distressed ink warm honey
