Welcome little one

This is a card just because, you never know when you need a baby card. I was playing with my Elizabeth Craft Designs products the Karen Burniston designed Accordion circle die and micro fine glitter and adhesive sheets.
I love this Mo Manning image from Penny Black, I love the look of micro fine glitter with stickers and wanted to use it with stamps. I stamp my image in black ink covered it with double sided sticker paper and glitter, then coloured it with copic pens and fussy cut it out. It was then popped up with foam dots.
When you open the card the circle pivots to reveal a spot for your verse written inside.

CCEE1435 Technique challenge

Today challenge on CCEE Stampers is Amber's Technique Challenge - Herringbone  A fun technique using up scraps of paper. Directions can be found here: http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/resources/tutorials/herringbone/
I thought is was about time I made my first Christmas card for this year. Paper packs are great for this technique as they have a assortment of coordinating papers although you may have useful scrap papers.
I die cut an oval panel with spellbinders nestabilities die and added the coordinating bling edge. The image is Stampavie Laurence Collection - Cosy Christmas and is coloured with copic pens.

Winter Birthday

We have just had some rain before a very windy winters day over last weekend which was the inspiration for this card. This weekend is rather wet and chilly also, just to remind us we are in our last week of winter.
On the front I have used my newly purcased the retired stampin up birthday sentiment, it fits perfectly into the Lorna Label die. We never have snow here and it is very rare for us to have trees without leaves but I love this look.
I have created a pop up for the inside using the Karen Burniston designed Lorna Label pop up die from Elizabeth Craft Designs.  To create the inside I have cased a couple of Ideas from her designers. From Rachel the double Lorna Label and from Frances the positive and negative penguins using Chilly Penguin die.
I used shimmer sheetz for the snowflakes and the ice on the pond. I used the slots die from the Lucy Label set and the penguins have been attached to acetate strips
Supplies:
Stamps: Stampin up (retired)
Other: Designer paper DCWV Luxury stack, ECD dies - All seasons tree, Chilly Penguin, Lorna Label pop up, Lucy Label slots, shimmer sheetz, Martha Stewart snowflake punch.

Have a great day

CCEE1434 Back to School

For our challenge on CCEE Stampers this week Amber says it is time to the kids to go back to school. So make a card to give to the teacher.
When I saw this designer paper I thought of an apple for the teacher. The label on the front is two of the dies from the Lorna Label set from Elizabeth Craft Designs.
For the inside I have used the Lorna Label pop up die designed by Karen Burniston. And La la land crafts backpack Marci.
Here is a close up of Marci, she has been popped up with foam dots and I have added another layer to the apple for extra dimension.
The die cut letters and the sentiment inside are from the Stamps of life.

Have a great Day

Accordion Birthday

I thought I would share this card I had made earlier in the year for a pink and blue challenge. I took it to a friends place for show and tell projects, I must say taking cards anywhere before taking a photo is a big mistake because it disappeared. It was searched for in everyone's crafts supplies that day, but never found. Just when I thought I would have to create another, there it was in my craft room several months later. That is just a little but freaky.
The little bunny is from Stampavie and I have used the Sizzix accordion die designed by Karen Burniston.
Here it is open, the sentiment comes in the set with the bunny.

CCEE1433 Goodbye

This week on CCEE Stampers, Hostess Amber has asked us to create a card with a goodbye theme.
I recently spent a week away on my first cruise to New Caledonian Islands and we did lots of waving goodbye as we set sail.
For my stamps I found some unmounted rubber stamps that I think I may have had for over 10 years, so I am not sure of the origin, however the foliage bordering the center panel is from Urban Stamps - gorguss set.  The designer paper is from the trade winds stack from DCWV.

Take Care

CCEE1432 Baked goods

It is the beginning of a new month and a new hostess on CCEE Stampers. Amber has challenged us to create a card with a County Fair theme. It wasn't until I was posting this card that I read the finer details for this challenge that was that you got extra points if you used green on your card. Green is the colour (color) for the 4-H youth organization  administered by the National Institute of Food and Agriculture of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA)......Oops.... but I do have a green background so I hope that counts.
Now we don't use the term county fair but I am guessing that it is the same as our Royal Queensland Show . If you are a local you would call it the Brisbane Ekka, which just happens to start this week. There is a wide range of competitions wood-chopping, animals, produce, crafts and many more. A favourite of mine is the cake decoration entrants.
For the front I have used La La Land Crafts Chef Marci  on Designer paper DCWV sweet stack
On the inside I have used Elizabeth Craft Designs Lorna Label pop up designed by Karen Burniston and the stand up helper Happy Birthday as an embellishment.
Take care

Leopard Stand up

Hi Everyone,
Today's card was a special request card, something with leopard print.
I have used Sizzix Regal Stand up die designed by Stephanie Barnard from Stamps of Life. The flower was made using the MFT die-namics Plentiful Petals and a gem stone brad. The Dies that I have used along the bottom all come in the stand up set this set contains 22 different dies.

On the inside I have used MFT die-namics to show case the retired Stampin up verse that I picked up at a market stall.

Glitter Butterfly

Today I cased my card from my friend Frances aka Stampowl, when we got together on Thursday, I was shown some of her Elizabeth Craft Designs samples and I just loved this layout using the word stand up helpers.
Actually I can't even take credit for this butterfly either as it was a gift from stamping sister Colleen, although I do have the dies for it, you can follow the link to see Els's utube tutorial.
For the inside I have used the Lucy label pop up die, the Katie label die designed by Karen Burniston and the small butterfly die used with micro fine glitter and copic pens.

I hope you like my card
Hugs
