Celebrations

Welcome to another challenge day. Kathleen from Crazy4challenges design team has this last challenge for February.

Today is "Open that Bottle Day".  Who knew there is a day for that!  So this week, let's make a card of celebration!

I made this card for a work colleague who is turning 21 soon.

I finally had the chance to create a billboard pop -up with the surprise ball pop-up from Karen Burniston.

To find out how to created the surprise ball, you card see Karen's video with this link.

I added some glitter to the surprise ball for a disco party theme as party of this stamped trio's celebrations. You can even spin the ball around.

For the front of the card I created a belly band to keep the card closed and just used the die cuts for a simple lead in to the surprise inside.

Friendship Dragons

My card today is for the challenge that I do with friends. Each month we have a challenge to make sure we use our supplies.

This month our challenge was Dragons.

I just has to try out this dragon set from My Favorite things, it is so cute. I cut out the images using my scan & cut before colouring. The background is a outdoor scene builder stencil and I have used distress oxide inks for the stenciling.

Thanks for Looking Today.......................

Floral pockets

It is challenge time with the design team on CCEE Stampers challenge blog. Hostess Anne has asked us to make a pocket card and use any technique.

I used a 12 x 6 piece of designer card and folded it to create my pocket card. I die cut some tags and stamped the flowers with versamark ink. The front is decorated with floral die cuts from Marianne design creatables.

Hello

Welcome to today's Crazy 4 Challenges designer team challenge.

Today is "Walk the dog day" on the calendar of days!  I feel guilty already!  I'm not the most consistent walker of my dog.
This week put an image of a dog or any kind of pet on your project.  It could even include a picture of your pet!

For my card I search deep for a stamp set with a dog and found this unmounted red rubber one from Rubber Romance,( I have had it for years and I don't think the company is around anymore). I Paper pieced the pants on the girl and added the distress ink background and the die cut sentiment.

Happy Smoochie day

It is challenge time with the CCEE Stampers design team.

Tomorrow is Valentine’s Day. Make a masculine Valentine in nontraditional colors (no RED or pink).

For my card I have used the Altenew Radial Heats cover die. Foam mounted it above a darker blue card stock. The stamped images and from Stamping Bella - Smoochie Knomes.

Thanks for the lift

Welcome to today's challenge card made for the Crazy 4 Challenges design team challenge. Today is "Kite Flying" day! So put a kite or something else that flies on your card this week.

I found this designer paper in my supplies that I had wanted to use for today's card. I then found this stamp set which matched perfectly.

In the inside I created a double pop -up used the Katherine label die, inspired by Frances card here.
I used the circles to give a larger area for the kites to be attached to, so that it hides the mechanism. As you open and close the card the kites move up and down to reveal the sentiment below.

Supplies
Karen Burniston - 1011 - Katherine Label Pop -up
Elizabeth Craft Designs - Circle & Kite dies
Stamped images Sugar Peas designs.

Adventures and Possibilities

It is challenge time with the CCEE Stampers challenge blog design team, this month our Hostess Anne.

White embossing is beautiful on neutral colors.  My challenge is to use white embossing on a card, using Kraft, or any other shade of brown.

I had this designer paper in my supplies and thought it would be a great background paper for a male card. I used white heat embossing powder for the sailboat and added a pop up on the inside for something fun.

Supplies:
Beccy's Place - sailboat
Karen Burniston - 1011- Katherine Label pop-up
circle dies, stitched rectangles, fishtail banner dies, snow white embossing powder,

Hello,
Today on Crazy 4 Challenges, Hostess  Kathleen on the design team has this challenge.

For this Saturday, it's "Eat Ice Cream for Breakfast Day!" So put a dessert on your card today.  It doesn't have to be ice cream.

I made a simple card today using stamped image from  Avery Elle and added some brads from my stash of supplies.
