Have a fairy nice day

Welcome
My card today is for the CCEE stampers challenge.

According to the days of the year calendar today is tooth fairy day. Make a card and include a fairy.

The front of my card is decorated as a lead into the surprise on the inside.
I chose the Katherine label pop up dies set to highlight the verse for this card and added the stamped Unicorns and rainbow for some extra magic.

Supplies:
Your next stamp - Fairytale homes, Fairytale Friends
Karen Burniston - Katherine Label popup, nature edges
Avery Elle - Be a Unicorn

Sending you a teenie weenie hug

Welcome to this week card with the Crazy 4 challenges team.

It is National Dog Biscuit Day!  So this week let's put a pet on your card.  It doesn't have to be a dog.

For my card today I played with the Art Impressions dog twist ties set. The set comes with coordinating dies to create the window. This is so cute the way they wrap around each other.

Lever action card

This is my card for todays challenge with the CCEE Stampers team.

I love interactive cards and my challenge today was to create a lever card using dies or a ruler for scoring and craft knife.

It has been quite some time since I have made a lever card, the design has been around for quite awhile. I used a die to get the measurement for the lever window. And used one of my old My Favorite Things boarder dies for embellishments.

Because of the dimension created with the internal square, this card is great as a stand alone card and for displaying upright.

Dashing through the snow

Welcome to my blog post, today I am sharing a card made for a challenge that I do each month with a couple of friends.

Our challenge was My Favourite Things.

I went with stamped images from the stamp company My Favorite Things or MFT for short.
I die cut the front panel twice gluing them together for dimension, the insert piece was only one layer that I had coloured with distress inks. All the stamped images were fussy cut out and added to the card with foam tape.

Supplies:
Lawn Fawn - stitched hillside backdrop
MFT - Ready, set ,snow
Distress inks - tumbled glass, salty ocean, chipped sapphire.
copic pens, foam tape, glue.

C4C471 February Sketch

Welcome to today's card a sketch challenge with the Crazy 4 challenges team.

Sketch Week but with a twist.  Your card can follow the sketch as is or you can make it as a tent fold or you can flip the rectangles and 3 elements to the opposite sides as in the sketch!

My sketch with a twist was to turn the sketch on its side.

Supplies:
Gerda Steiner designs Turtley great stamp set.
Karen Burniston crosshatch square, Frame pull pop-up and nature edges die sets.

I heart you

Hi Everyone

Here is my card for the CCEE stampers challenge this week.

Today is Valentine's day and it is also my birthday this week, so please create a birthday card for someone you love.

I die cut the heart background die in red card, I then cut the heart shape out of the background piece and mounted it with foam tape squares. I then stamped and fussy cut the Penny Black image and added it and the Happy Birthday die cut words and shadow to the card.  I just carried  the stamped elements over to the inside.

Shades of purple

Welcome to today's challenge card with the CCEE Stampers team. This month I am hostess and this is my first challenge.

The birthstone for February is Amethyst, use a shade of purple and include gem stones or charms on your card.

I created the base card using Karen Burniston Charm Accordion die and the stamped images are from My Favorite Things - tweet friends stamp set. My charm embellishments were coated with diamond glaze for dimension and shine and I have also added some gems stones.

Stand Tall

Welcome to the Crazy 4 challenges team challenge today, this month Kathleen is hostess and we welcome back again Kristine as guest designer.

February 2nd is Ground Hog Day!  If you don't have an image of a ground hog then put any other ground critter on your card this week!

I was asked some time ago to make a Meerkat card, but I just didn't have the right image, so I was so happy when Art Impressions came out with this stamp set. I have combined it with Karen Burniston's cup cake pop up to create a birthday card.
