Coffee gift card

It is time to join the design team on Crazy 4 challenges for the challenge this week.

Give a Gift Make a card with space for a gift card, on the front! (So not inside the card) It can be a pocket, some type of interactive mechanism or even part of your main design. Alternatively, create a gift box or package.

I created the gift card holder by altering Karen Burniston coffee cup pop up so that it was flat. It has a gift card holder die cut in the back and by using foam tape I popped it up so that the gift card would slide in behind the cup.

I have used the concord and 9th turnabout stamp set  with distress oxide inks, to create the background paper.

And I used the mini pops pop up to make the pop up coffee cup inside.

After the ink dried it on the coffee cup the words seems to bleed together, so I used a black maker to highlight the text.

Supplies,
Karen Burniston - coffee cup pop up, mini pops pop up.
Concord and 9th  - coffee blend turnabout
distress inks - gathered twigs, cracking campfire, wild honey, dried marigold.

In the right Direction

My card today is for the CCEE Stampers blog challenge CCEE2121.

Maybe this year can mean a road trip!! May 28th is National Road Trip day!! Your creation might include a map, a wonderful scene, or an exhausting shopping spree to a great out of town spot you haven't ventured to inn quite some time. You might want to include the car if you would like on your card. Have fun, and if a road try is still not on your agenda, take a virtual one in your imagination.

I haves used designer paper and Lawn Fawn stamps for my card for this challenge.

Happily Ever After Day

 Hi Crafting Friends,

Today is Challenge day with the CCEE Stampers design team.

May 20th is International Tiara Day, and also the birthday of Queen Victoria. So, get out your crowns, gemstones, and gold to see what you can create that would be fit for a queen. Maybe it might be a card or crown for your favorite little princess in your life, or maybe you love the look of Victorian styled art and decor.

My Daughter recently asked my to make a card for her friends wedding. They have been friends for many years since meeting while working at Disney World. The one request was that it be Disney themed, well I chose Cinderella after all it is a Happy ever after story.

I created my card starting with some designer paper covering the card before adding the Karen Burniston Flip Frame pop up, to animate the castle on the frame. I added the Happily ever after die sentiment in gold card. I then added a place for a hand written sentiment using dies.

On the front I used a favorite Mr & Mrs die set with the horse and carriage.

Supplies
Karen Burniston - Flip Frame Pop up die set, Happily ever after sentiment die.
Hero Arts - Stamps and Die sets - Build a Castle, As you wish
Tonic Studios die Mr & Mrs

Celebrating Chocolate Chip Day

Hi Crafting Friends

May 13th is Chocolate chip day.  Our challenge on the CCEE Stampers blog is to use chocolate on our card.

Who is not won over with a chocolate chip cookie in their life? So, on your creation this week, represent this day any way you would like from chocolate chip cookies, to chocolate of any kind, or making use of brown as your main color focus.

I have used designer paper and dies to created my card.

This piece of designer paper was too pretty to cut up.

A Long time ago

 Hi Crafting friends,

I have made this card for a work colleague for her special 60th Birthday. Since she is a sci- fi fan I made the card personalized.

I started out making the base card with Karen Burniston's new release waterfall die set. I love this new die set, so much easier to use altering the previous Frame Pull pop up.

I didn't have any related to the star wars theme in stamps, I went in search in some clip art files.

The images are meant to be for cake toppers, I just cut them down to fit. I also found the sentiments if the clip art files.

I really liked the Clip art Yoda but it was too big the fit in the pop up pages. So I added it to the inside and added the panel for a hand written message.

Thanks for looking today.
