National Golf Month

Welcome to a new hostess Frances for a month of Challenges on CCEE Stampers Blog.
Apparently this month is National Golf Month … so for our challenge this week let’s create a card which features some sort of sport. Bonus points if you create a Golf themed card. Oh and we might need to see the color green on your card too.
Well my friend Frances knows me so well, we all know my favourite colour is green and golf has been my game since I was encouraged to take up a sport in my teens, in fact I met my husband on the golf course and we have many touring golf holidays and plan to do many more when we retire.
This is the inspiration for my card, I fell in love the this cute house mouse many years ago when it all we had were wood mounted stamps. It is now available from Stampendous as a cling stamp.

Autumn Standup

We are half way through our last month of Autumn here in Australia and they days are just glorious. Beautiful sunny days with blue cloudless skies and moderate temperatures 8-24 degrees Celsius.

This is a Autumn themed card using orange and brown colours. I have used the Stamps of Life stand up die for my base card and the coordinating framelits.

The butterfly is a glittered overlay and a shimmer sheetz base and the lace is a black sticker all from Elizabeth Craft Designs.

Happy Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day to all.

I hope you are sharing this day with your loved ones.

For my card today I have created a side step card using the Sizzix step up die designed by Stephanie Barnard. from the stamps of life. The bear is a docrafts stamps and I have added some store bought embellishments.

A little bird told me

Happy New Year Everyone.

Welcome to the first CCEE Stampers challenge of 2015. We have a great list of challenge in store for this year for lots if inspiration don't forget to bookmark our blog. 

Our hostess this month is Vicky Gould. Vicky asks that we create a card spotlighting a bird. I just happened to have this cute little bird coloured and ready to go. 

The base card was created using the Sizzix stand up die created by Stephanie Barnard, I also used the happy birthday die from Elizabeth Craft designs.

Here is the card flat for postage, truly it is that same card but it seems that the camera picked up the green background and it changed the colours.

CCEE1447 Photos & Photography

This is my 3rd week of being hostess on CCEE Stampers for my challenge I have asked everyone to create a card using photos & photography.
For this challenge I want to use stamps that I have had for some time. This set is from Oxford Impressions, Bathing Beauties.

For the base card I have used The Stamps of Life step ups die. I created by background paper by clear embossing seashells on white card and sponging with Adirondack inks. The photo stamps are stamped with dye ink and matted and attached to the card with foam dots.

Here is what the card looks like laying flat for decorating.

I just may become a bathing beauty this year, it is still a few weeks until we hit summer in Australia, it has been very dry and hot and already we have had several days where we have had temperatures in the mid forties (43ºC = 109.40ºF) This is the highest November temperatures we have had since 1944.
