A Good Book

This is my first time that I have created the weekend sketch in the same week that it was posted, I have had a few days off work and have spent my time stamping. It was a really easy sketch and I got to use my new craft affair flowers. I used the stampin up piercing mat and guide for the priking on the corner.

Recipe
Stamps: Rubber Romance
Parper: DP- Bali Breeze,CS- Pixie Pink, Purely Pomergranate

I just bought this Designer Paper from Stampin up, it is double sided as most Dp seems to be these days.
Since is was green I thought I would try my first Limited supply challenge, LSC208 over on SCS. I thought I was doing really well until I read the fine print and it said three layers, oops! Oh well I will just have to try again sometime.

These are the cards that the girls gave me, great golf cards, Thanks.

a drop of wine

Well I have had a busy day today. With the rainy and cool it was a perfect day to stay inside and when the family is away with better way to spend my time, just playing with my craft things. With my daughter away, there was a spare room in the house just begging to be used.

I share my craft room with our home office and my space measures 2metres by 2.5 metres, it is not very big and is packed full. My daughter still has stuff in her room so I cleared off her desk and her duchess. I have set up my sizzix and xyron machine ( so good not having to get them out of a box each time I want to use them).

I had a project to work on this weekend and that was scrapling card for our club on Wednesday, I am happy to say that I have made four of them, they are so easy to make and not as limiting as ATCs, but I can't show you until weds.

So I thought I would share with you the other card that I made today.

I have a few MFT sets that I have not used before, I have seen some great cards made using this set. I started out by colouring the image with copics and wanted to add some texture so I paper pieced their clothes. The copic pen I have used is RV42 a very close colour to Stampin up, current in colour ( Aust) Groovy Gauva, I am going to miss this colour when it retires.
I used fiscars border punch and wanted to add a ribbon , but I didn't have a colour that matched. So I used the same copic pen and colour white grosgrain ribbon.
For the DP on the background, I used DCWV - adhesive paper prints, so easy to use just cut, peel and stick.
Recipe:
Stamps: MFT- Meet me at the cafe
Other: DCWV - adhesive paper prtints, Stampin up - berry bliss DP, ribbon, copics, brads, fiscars punch.

Golf Days

Today is my golf day, I just love playing on Tuesday with the ladies. Today I gave my friend a birthday card that I had made. I have had this stamp for many years not many people like golf cards so I don't get to use it that often.

I cased the design for this card from friend, which she has made to the Anya Club challenge but I don't own any Anyas yet anyway but I hope that will change soon. I used a dimensional product to add definition to the golf ball

Recipe:

Stamps: Handprint- Golfball 0226-13-E

Paper: White cs, stampin up - Wild Wasbi , Basic Grey

Other: grass punch - ek sucess, cuttlebug EF tiny bubbles, red ribbon, circle nestabilities, copics, dimensional papier glass finish - plaid

A Spot of rain

Today my daughter left for Florida to work at Disney World, while it is exciting for her it was sad for me as it is her first time away from home.

I made a card to cheer me up using bright colours, but used a stamp for the way I felt.

The brads are from Kaiser but I love the way that they match the stampin up paper and card

I used Jersey Shore designer paper and matched it with pumpkin pie and old olive. And used tangerine tango ribbon. I used the sketch sc214 found on Splitcoast stampers found here.

Recipe:
Stamps: MFT - Rain or shine
paper: Stampin up - DP,pumpkin pie,old olive.

Well school is back so it is busy at work again, so that means less time for stamping and other things,( it was hard to go back after 9 weeks off), so I thought I would share a card that I made awhile ago.

I have used green bazzill for the base card. The white dragonflies have been stamped with stazon ink on acetate. The word dragonfly was stamped using Karen Foster snap stamps and punched it with the label punch. I then stamped the dragonfly with Kaleidacolor ink layered it with black attached the ribbon and label on the front of the acetate, backed it with black card and attached it with black brads.

Recipe:

Stamps: Stamp-it Australia - Dragonfly, Karen Foster - snap stamps

Paper : Bazzill card, Acetate, scrap card.

Other: Stazon ink - white, Kaleidacolor- fresh greens, ribbon ,brads.
