Bringing gifts

It is a cold and cloudy day today and feeling every inch a winters day. A perfect day to make a winter card. This is my first Christmas card for this year,( I usually make my cards at the last minute and very clean and simple), even though it is hot here at Christmas time snowflakes are still a great decoration to use. I have combined Mojo Monday mojo205 and Paper Pretties PPMC05 Challenges. I stamped my image with black brillance ink and coloured it with copics, I am getting the hang of colouring with these pens. I then used the nestabilites oval die and sponged the edges. I wanted to add some pleated ribbon but it wouldn't stay down with just tape so out came the sewing machine. I can tell I had to dust off the cobwebs as I have not used it for years, but it worked perfectly. I love chocolate and blue colour theme and would never have thought to use it in a Christmas card, I usually stick with more traditional colours.
Supplies:
Stamps: Paper Pretties
Paper: 3 bugs in a rug, white, brown and blue card
Other: Martha stewart punches, nestabilities, cuttlebug snowflake die, brad, sewing machine, copics, sponge, ribbon.

Make a wish

I am trying hard to post this card but I am suffering from allergies and can hardly keep my eyes open. This card was for my great niece who turned 6 and she just loves fairies and princesses. I used my new stamp set, I had purchased from the craft shop it is made by Kanban a UK company but it reminds me alot of Lily of the Valley another UK company which I just adore. I used water colour pencils on the image, the red hair is just the same as Tayissa's.
This card is also entered into the Boomerang Stampers List COTM button and ribbon embellishments. To make the flower I used MFT Die-namics and sponged the edges. I have used Mojo Monday sketch mojo188 for the layout.

Supplies:
Stamps: Kanban Crafts - Lucy, words -Papercraft clear cling
Paper: Cream & blue card, DP - Karen Foster Princess wishes
Other: MS punch, nestabilities, watercolour pencils, glitter pen.

Gone Fishing again

It has been awhile since I have done a Mojo Monday sketch, this sketch matched my stamp perfectly.
I needed a card for my brother in law's birthday next month, I knew I wanted to use this stamps as he is a keen fisherman, going with the fishing club several times a month. But he seems to do a lot of trying but he never brings any home, perhaps all he catches is old shoes. LOL
I have been spring cleaning the house and came across this mesh that I had kept from some packaging it look just like fishing net.
I purchased this set from a craft shop really quite cheap, it is from Sullivans, and there a several other male theme images in the set.
Stamps: Sullivans clearstamps
Paper: blue, white & black
Other:copics,brads,netting,foam tape,DS tape
