Peek through window

Hello
While the cats away the mice will play. LOL DH is away fishing so I have lots of time to stamp, it is like having a holiday right here. I am having so much fun.
There are many ways to use acetate, from using it as the main card to a window. I saw this tutorial in August on Dawn blog, it was so different I thought I would give it a try, you would not believe how easy it is.
I used the same designer paper for both cards, but depending on the layering colours the different background colour just pop out.
The verse on the cards is rub on from a sheet that I purchased from a discount store, 17 rub ons for $2
Stamps: House Mouse
Paper: Kaiser craft Dp deck the halls, purely pomegranate, riding hood red, white, green
Other: nestabilities,copics, ds tape

Princess Anya

Hello there,
I am so happy my first ever My Greeting Farm stamps have arrived. Yeahhh!!! I chose Princess Anya for my first card. It was Club last week and our project was to make a Easel card, I love doing projects especially when Frances is there for instructions when you get stuck. Easel cards are very popular at the moment if you look at various blogs you will certainly see one. The card is folded into a z fold with the card front attached inside you attach an embellishment or die cut a verse and attach with foam tape like I did. This helps the card stand up.

Stamps: The Greeting Farm - Princess Anya, Hanna Stamps - Verse
Paper: DCWV- Adhesive paper prints, blue, red & white card
Other: Shapeabilities Pendants Fleur de lis, nestabilities oval, copics, Martha Stewart-
Lattice Arch Border Punch, glitter pen, Spellbinders Fancy Tags Die

Wedding Day Iris

The wedding was on Saturday and it was beautiful, everything went smoothly the tiny bridal party members 4,2 and 6mths were so well behaved even in our terrible heat.
My Daughter was so excited that she received her own invitation ( not just her name tacked onto Mum and Dads invitation, but one for her and her boyfriend) that she wanted to make her own card, her passion is iris folding, but after making the Heart she was stuck so it was Mum to the rescue, after some discussion we decided to stick with the heart and red and white theme so while she was at work I created.
Stamps: Fiskars - Romance clear stamp set
Paper: Holographic wrapping paper, red & white card
Other: Ribbon, cuttlebug embossing folder- hearts, scallop punch, heart embellishment.
Have a great day

Here comes the Bride

Today is my Niece's wedding and this is what I made for her. They have been together for 5 years so wanted a wishing well. Earlier this month I saw the instructions for a gift card holder on the Rubber Romance Blog with a slight change I turned into a card to hold money. I have had this stamp for many years just waiting to be inked up. I chose the black, red & white theme because that was the colours used for the invitation, the invite also had some diamante bling on it. I haven't any idea of the wedding colours.

Paper: Red, black & white, DP
Other: Shapeabilities Pendants Fleur de lis, nestabilities oval, craft affair- buckle slider, copics, cuttlebug embossing folder swirls, black grosgrain ribbon, word window punch.

Midnight Dancer

Hi There,
Today I thought I would share a card i made for just to keep on hand. Dear Daughter tends to ask for a card at the last minute. For this card I used the MFT sketch found on SCS. I used spellbinder nestabilities label 5 to cut out the main image, then used the rubber embossing mat. The lines in the background were made using my scor-pal.
Stamps: Inkadinkado- In the Groove, Sentiment - Hanna Stamps
Paper: White, Black, DP Imaginisce - Black tie options
Other: Nestibilities, rubber Embossing mat, brads, scor-pal, ribbon, brilliance ink, Round Tab punch.

Come on Baby

Today I have another new purchase to share with you the cuttle bug embossing folder 'Stars', I saw this used on a card sometime ago and I just needed it. LOL After embossing my card I highlighted the stars with chocolate ink, using my sponging block. The large star was cut using nestibilities template and also sponged. I used several stamps from The Cat's Pajamas, Havin' a pow wow set masking as I went and colouring with copics. All die cut stars were attached with foam tape. Star brads were attached to the bottom row. I made this card for my daughter to give to her boyfriend, "Happy Birthday Adam" I hope you like it.
Stamps: The Cat's Pajamas - Havin' a Pow Wow
Paper: Vanilla, Chocolate,Black, DP- outlaw
Other: Star & oval nestabilities, Star embossing folder- cuttle bug, string, star brads, ds tape, foam tape.

spinning penguin

I have been wanting to do this type of card for a long time, I am not really that happy with it I think I need to play with it a bit more. I punched my circle a little too low and had trouble attaching the string, but I think you should get the idea. I cut the circle out on my top card and then put it in the embossing folder, it was then sponged with blue ink so that the snowflakes pop. I made two images the same and glued them together with the string inside, this was then attached to fit in with the other cut circles, so when you hold the card up the image spins. To frame the saying I used my new frame die cut. You can find a tutorial for this card on splitcoast stampers it is called a suspension card.
Stamps: My Favorite Things - Winter Blast
Paper: White, Blue
Other: Snowflake EB Folder- cuttlebug, nestabilities - fancy tags & circles, striped ribbon

RockStar

Last week I was able to attend the local craft show, needless to say I did make some purchases. Having teenage daughters I have plenty of girl stamps, but find it difficult to make cards for boys so when I saw this set from inkadinkado I thought great, it will go with the guitar stamp that I got some time ago. I love the solid stamp great for when you don't have time to colour. i stamped my images in brilliance black ink, the corners were highlighted with thin strips of black card.Stamps: Inkadinkado- In the groove, Fiskars- Rockpile
Paper: White, blue DP- Imaginesce
Other: Small Brads, Brilliance ink, ds tape
