Red Shoes

Hi there, I am taking a little detour from sharing Christmas cards and showing the card that I made for my daughter's birthday.
My daughter loves her shoes, I am pretty sure she has a red pair and lots of heels, so when I found the stamp set I knew I wanted it for her card.

On the inside I have used the Karen Burniston gift pivot panel, crosshatch rectangles and the Paper Rose Happy Birthday dies.

Blue Christmas

Here is another Christmas card that I have sent out. It had the Karen Burniston Merry Christmas, trees from the evergreen pivot panel set.

On the inside I have used the evergreen pivot panel and the cross hatch rectangles.
I have added some deer from a deer border from Crafts4U.

I have to say it wasn't until I was glued this card together that I noticed a mistake. I have my dies in plastic sleeves and while I had the evergreen pivot picture on the front I didn't notice that inside was 2 pivot dies, I obviously put one away incorrectly last time. So the pivot panels on this card and the one other day are made from the house pivot panel. Just incase you are wondering which one works best, well I found out that they are interchangeable and they both work.

Follow the Golden Star

Merry Christmas to everyone. Hope everyone has had a great day of celebrations.

While I Santa seems to be the star these days, I am having thoughts of my childhood lessons of the reason we celebrate Christmas. Celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ. My card today is my with die cuts from Crafts4U.

For whatever reason you celebrate today or even other day, remember your loved ones, family and friends.

Take Care
Maryann

I spy Santa

Today is the last 2019 challenge with for the CCEE Stampers. As part of the design team I would like to thank everyone for their support. We are taking a short break and will be back January 2nd 2020.

For this last challenge, we are asked to create a card which has a window. It will then be our choice on whether you want to be peeking IN on Santa or peeking OUT at Santa.

For my card I have used the windows to the world stamps and dies from Art Impressions, and have used a few other dies to create a stone cottage wall.

Christmas Holidays

Today is the second last challenge for 2019 with the Crazy4Challenges design team.
Being that it is a busy time of the year, Hostess Frances is keeping our challenge today fairly simple.

Use your favorite holiday stamps/dies on your creations. If you don't celebrate Christmas, then use one of your favorite stamps/dies.

I love Penny Black images and always use a few each year, I also love this pull card die designed by Karen Burniston (retired from her ECD days) My sentiment and banner are from Lawn Fawn one of my favourite companies this year.

Coffee Moustache

This week on CCEE Stampers we are asked to put a moustache on our cards.

November is also known as Movember which is a time to celebrate and raise funds for male issues.
For our challenge this month include a Moustache (Mo) on your card in some way.

I have been wanting to use this Thanks a Latte stamp set for Lawn Fawn for ages. It is kind of quirky to add faces to the cups, they looked so sweet. I coloured the images to match the designer paper in the background. It just so happened that I had a jar of shaker sequins on my desk waiting to be used, it has been so long since I have made a shaker card, I just love the way it turned out. With so much going on the front this inside looked rather plain so I just added the pop - up inside last minute.

Supplies:
Lawn Fawn - Thanks a Latte stamp set
Stitched Hillside Backdrop.
Karen Burniston - 1011 - Katherine Label pop -up die
1054 - Crosshatch rectangle die

Snow Drift Blessings

Today we have another challenge hosted by Nicky for the Crazy 4 Challenges blog.

For this challenge, I was trying to find ideas that I haven't seen in other challenges so. I thought that it would be fun to use a card that we had received from someone else as inspiration. It can be a handmade card or a store-bought card.

I went craft shopping with a friend the other day and purchased a few things. My friend commented that I happen to have a snow theme happening, so I just continued with the theme for today's card.

I created my with several die sets from Karen Burniston.
1064 - Christmas tress pop stand
1011 - Katherine Label pop-up
1006 - Nature Edges
1017 - Snowmen
The sentiment is from the stampendous stamps set holiday expressions.

This is my inspiration card, I received it last year. You can following the link for more detailed information on how to make the original card here.
