Seaside Holiday

Hi Crafty Friends

Today is my last challenge for the month on the CCEE Stampers blog.

What ever the season it is great to get away, celebrate the day with a seaside holiday. Use the seaside for inspiration for your card today.

This stamp is one of the wood mounted House Mouse stamps that I have had for years, but it is a great image I just had to use it this week.

I made a z fold card using the main image as the focal point. Inside I added the summer sentiment.
The z fold card is a great way to show off a large image and add a bit of a fun element.

Double Interlocking Concertina

                                         Hi Crafty Friends

I have another challenge card this week for the CCEE Stampers challenge.

Receiving cards is so much fun, a fun fold card with a wow factor gives so much joy to the recipient.

Create a card with more than a center fold. Think of a easel, pop-up, center step or shutter card.

I recently joined a friend at her card class, they have been finding inspiration from online tutorials. This one is from Sam Calcott's Made to surprise site called the Double Interlocking Concertina.

I made my card to fit in the Australian standard envelope. The size worked really well with the 6 x6 paper pack.

The front is just a page trimmed down and I have attached the die cut text.

Silhouettes Ladies

 Hi Crafty Friends

It is time for this weeks challenge with the team on the CCEE Stampers blog. I am hostess again and this is my challenge.

I love the simplicity of the a Silhouette, a lot of companies have them whether they are stamps or dies. Create a card with a beautiful Silhouette, it can be in a scene or a standalone image.

I have use stamps from Altenew to tell a story for this waterfall card. I made the waterfall card using dies as per instructions. I added the silhouette on the front panel.

You pull the tab to reveal the next page.

Then pull it again for the next one.

And again for the last page. The card fits in a normal envelope for posting and opens up for you to sign inside.

I used the Karen Burniston - 1161 waterfall card die to create the base card. A video is the easiest way to understand the die, so I am adding the link and you can see Karen's tutorial here.

Walk your dog

Hi Crafty Friends,

This month on the CCEE Stampers Blog I will be the hostess bring you the challenges.

According to the days of the year calendar, it is walk your dog week. Walk you dog week is a week holiday dedicated to bringing your dog a healthier lifestyle. Make a card with your furry friend in mind.

On the front of my card today I thought I would use a wobble spring behind the head of the puppy, just a bit of interactive fun on this card. I folded the card base and added designer paper on the front and on the inside. I used a die for the grass and the sentiment banner.

On the inside I created a pop up scene. I die cut a square and made it look like a wooden box using a woodgrain stamp. I then stamped the dog head, coloured them and fussy cut them out. I made two small boxes and added the to the base card behind where I wanted to place the box. I then added the puppy heads. I then added the die-cut clouds and the sentiment panel.
