Fun in the sun

Join the fun with CCEE Stampers and create something a with sunglasses theme CCEE1426. These girlfriends are from Art Impressions. I can really relate to these girls, here in Australia I never go outside without my sunglasses even in the winter.

For the base card I used Stephanie Barnard designed stand up die by Sizzix. The verse inside is a panel from a Art Impressions decoupage set.

White on White

Today's challenge on CCEE Stampers was to use white CCEE1425, I chose to create a white on white card, this is actually my first white on white card it is something that I have been wanting to try.  I have used embossing  for the background to add texture and die cut flowers for dimension. I wanted to sentiment to blend in as this is a sympathy card I wanted it subtle. I stamped the text onto acetate with stazon on ink and place it over the ribbon so that it blends in with the flowers. The final touch was to add the pearls.

Head on over to CCEE stampers blog to see what the other designers have come with.

Supplies:
Stamps: Kaisercraft
Sizzix tim holtz embossing folder, mft mini rolled roses die namics leafy flourish, daisy die, ribbon, foam dots, acetate, stazon ink, pearls

Roses

It is time to join my friends on  CCEE Stampers blog for this weeks challenge CCEE1424 we had to use Roses.
I just love these peel off stickers from Elizabeth Craft Designs, used with micro fine glitter and copic pen create wonderful results. For the base card I have used ECD accordion die. Placing one designer paper panel on the front, I then added a ECD sticker bee and a MFT rolled rose and leaf flourish.

The back of the first panel was embossed using the die and the embossed stitching was highlighted with ink. The last panel was made with a second designer paper panel. The center oval and the die used for stitching are also included in the Accordion Oval set. I also added parts of the leaf flourish inside along with the MFT sentiment.

What's one more candle

HI Everyone,
It is winter here is Australia [although it has been very mild so far today the wind outside is starting to blow] and this designer paper reminded me of a hot summers day. This card was created using a fun stamp from Art Impressions Giant cake set. The die on the bottom is a sizzix banner set and the sentiment is cut using a  spellbinder die.
and attaching it with brads.

I am entering this card into AI Challenge 137 "hip to be square"

I am off to find some socks and a thicker jumper, hope everyone has a great day.

Hedgehog Accordion

Another week for a CCEE Challenge CCEE1423 this time it is money or green, so head on over and see what the other designers have come up with and don't forget to add your creation so that we can see too.
I just couldn't go pass green, it is my favourite colour. I love this shade of green it is so crisp and bright and this Penny Black hedgehog is so cheerful just perfect for a Winter day here in Australia.
To create this card, I used Karen Burniston designed accordion die. This die is made by sizzix but Karen now has something similar with Elizabeth Craft designs.

Have a a great day

Glitter owl standup

One day each month I get together with friends for basically a girls day out. We hit our favourite craft shop or just gossip and share craft ideas over caffeine - coffee/cola.  Each month we set ourselves some  homework  and our challenge for this month is to create a card using glitter.
For today's card I used the Stephanie Barnard designed stand up die to create the base card. To create the owl, I have used an owl sticker and silk micro fine glitter technique with copic pens, Elizabeth craft designs tutorials can be found on utube. or via her blog.

Supplies:
Elizabeth Craft Designs sticker, silk micro fine glitter, copic pens, MFT border die, stand up die, foam dots, nestabilities

21 Accordion

This has to to one of my favourite MFT stamps, this girl is so cute and what girl can resist something with bubbles for a special occasion. For this card I used the Elizabeth Craft Designs Oval Accordion die, designed by Karen Burniston. This card folds flat for mailing and has the wow factor when opened and it is easy to display.
The girl was coloured with copic pens, but for the dress I stamped and cut it out of a sticker sheet covered it with silk microfine glitter and coloured it. The wine glass stem was paper pieced onto the dress. I finished the card with a die cut daisy and gems stones, the numbers were also die cut and glittered.

This fits into the Challenge for this week on CCEE Stampers, CCEE1422 where we were asked to use numbers in your creation, have a look at what our other designers have made and add you own creation so that we can have a look too.

Have fun
