Shutter gatefold

                                                         Welcome Crafting Friends.
My card today is my take on a gatefold card which is the Challenge of the Crazy4Challenges design team.
This isn't my original idea, but it is something that I have been meaning to make for some time.

My stamped images are from the Picture perfect stamp set from My Favorite Things. The image is put onto a belly band that you take off to open the card.

I have used the shutter card components from My favorite things to create the inside of the card.

Coffee with Friends

Hi Crafting Friends
This is my last challenge for this month as hostess on CCEE Stampers blog.
When I issued this challenge I thought it would be perfect, as I would need a strong cup of coffee after all the planning for my daughter's upcoming wedding. But sadly in these trying times the wedding will not be happening. I am just hoping that everything will get back to normal and my eldest daughter will have her wedding later in the year. 2020 was to be the year of celebrations for us, sadly it isn't and my heart goes out to all whom are effected.

I created the front of my card with Concord & 9th - Coffee Blend turnabout stamps. I used several different colours of brilliance inks to create my background, they were nice an shimmery.

On the inside I have used some extra background pieces and made it into a pop up card with the Rockin Rectangle die from Karen Burniston. I then added some cute animals from MFT - sweater weather stamp set.

Here is a close up of the stamped background I have created.

Magic surprise balloons

 Hello Crafty Friends

My card today is for a use your supplies challenge that I do with friends. This month our challenge is Lawn Fawn products and since there were some nice items in the new release. I decided to give them a try.

Earlier this month my friend shared a card that I just loved, since I had a special birthday for a work colleague I decided to case it.

This die is so much fun, I have already seen some fantastic ideas out there.

Another fabulous die is the popup sentiment dies, this as the extra surprise on the inside.

Lawn Fawn - dies  Magic iris, Magic Iris add on, pop up happy birthday pop up, Oliver's stitched abcs, Oliver's stitched 123s, outside in stitched balloons, stitched balloon frames,

Thanks for looking today......

Serendipity

My card today is for the sketch challenge with the Crazy4challenges team. It is the 3rd week of the month that means it is a sketch challenge.

I took a step back in time for the creativity for this card and made a serendipity background. Using inks, embossing powder and stamps.

To create the background I blended the distress oxide inks, sprayed on water to activate it, then heat set it. I then added versemark ink and sprinkled on various colours of embossing powder. I then white heat embossed the stamped images before cutting up the card. The larger background was done using the distress oxide inks but instead of using the embossing powders I used a bit of smooch spray in green.

To the new Mr & Mrs

My card today is for the CCEE Stampers team challenge.

Black and White plus colour.

I purchased this stamp set from Colorado Craft Company so that I could build up my supply of wedding cards.  I found this printed vellum in my supplies and decided to go with gold as my extra colour. To make the print on the vellum poop up I overlayed it onto white card.

Inside I have used the Karen Burniston 1011 Katherine Label pop -up for my sentiment pieces.

White on White

This is my card for the Crazy4Challenges team challenge, hostess Frances finds the most interesting facts on our challenges.

According to the Days of the Year web site, today is White Day. Apparently in countries where Valentine's Day is observed by women giving chocolate to those they love. White Day is the day they get the return on that investment.

I made a shaker card with white glitter inside, but it was really hard to photograph but you just have believe me that there is glitter inside. I continued the white theme with a die cut sentiment.

Party Favors

This is my second week as hostess on CCEE Stampers blog. I have two weddings this year and needed some ideas for bridal shower and wedding favors, so I have asked the team to.....

Create a bag, box or container that can be used to contain a party favour.

For my box I have used a die created by Lynda Kanase. I cut 2 pieces in Navy Blue and 2 in Orange, joined them together and added the flower embellishment also included in the set.

Aged to perfection

Welcome to today's challenge with the Crazy 4 Challenges design team. This Month Frances is our hostess and she says " Tomorrow, 8th March is International Women’s Day."

"For our challenge this week, include an image of a woman on your card."

I think and of the Art Impressions Girlfriends stamps are perfect for this challenge and this one was released a few years ago, I just couldn't resist stamping it out again.

Your'e Invited

Hi Everyone
It is my turn as hostess on CCEE Stampers blog. This week my challenge is to make a card or Invitation featuring a floral arrangement.

I have two weddings this year and invitations and flowers were on my mind when I chose this challenge.

For the background I have used Gina K  Glitz glitter gel with the painty stripes stencil from Uniquely Creative. The flowers are from the Uniquely Creative Flawed and Fabulous stamp set. I had to search for a sentiment set and found in my supplies this Taylored Expressions Big Bold Birthday set 5 sentiment set which fit in perfect for this theme.
