centre step 21st

Here is another 21st card, this time a construction centre step card. In my previous post I used the loopy bloom die-namic and I must say I wasn't very excited about it. I thought really did I need to buy it, but then I saw the awesome bloom on a friends card and it was pointed out it was pointed out that while I didn't use it incorrectly, this is the way it was meant to be used. I really do like this one but I can still keep the other option for when I want to post a flat card as this one tends to be a bit bulkier.
Stamps: MFT A'la mode
Paper: red and white card, DP DCWV stack
Other: Cherry Lynn flourish die, nestabilities die, MFT loopy bloom die-namic, MFT felt, ribbon, copic pens

Martinis on me

I have been requested to make a few 21st Birthday cards. For this one I used the sketch layout mftwsc67 . The stamp I have used is one of the latest released from My Favorite things. The crown border and the loopy flower were also made with MFT die-namics.

Circle flip it

The other day I purchased the sizzix circle flip it die, only to discover that my big shot was broken and it will be several weeks before I can get another. So it was nice that a friend cut out a card for me to play with. Luckily I still have my old sizzix die cutting machine so I can still use other dies.

I wanted to add some flower into the corners and as usual I don't seem to know when to stop but I am happy with the final results.

Paper: double sided card, white and blue card
Other: copic pens, mft  mini rolled rose, prima donna petals, crown border die-namics, leaf punch, ribbon, dried flowers, pearls, gems, cherry lyn flourish die.

Sporty pink car

I made this card for a 16yr old 's birthday, who just got her learners licence. This rubber romance stamp was just calling to me and when I saw the MFT sketch, I just wanted to flip the top layer open rather just making a layered card front. I then embossed the base panel and highlighted the raised area with ink. I think it just looks like she has been driving around in circles, I can remember doing just that when my girls learnt to drive.
Stamps: Rubber romance, MFT Sassy Saying
Paper: DCWV glitter stack, pink black and white card
Other: couture creations entangle embossing folder, copic pens, brilliance pearlescent orchid ink
Inspiration for this card My favorite things sketch MFTWSC63 and

Dylan 2 Dinosaurs

Now this card was made for my great Nephew Dylan who is also turning 2 this month. Kobe's brother in case you haven't guess they are twins, identical but my niece likes to keep their things colour coded to tell them apart, one blue and one green. I found this designer paper in my supplies and really wanted to used it. I was so sure that there must have been a sketch somewhere in my files to use but after looking for some time I couldn't find any so I just made one. I was really happy with the way that it turned out.

Squash card

Today's card is a squash card it is a fun card that folds into a smaller envelope.
For the insert paper I cut a square 20cm x 20cm folded into quarters and then diagonal, taking the diagonal corners and bring them together making the paper into a teabag fold. Glue the back square onto some base card, on the front bring the top corner down to the bottom.
Then just decorate your front panel making sure just to put your glue on the bottom triangle so that it opens up like and explosion.

Stamps: Penny Black -clear set wonderful
Paper: Cream & Pink card and DP
Other: Spellbinders dies, brad, copic pens, MFT  flower trio die

Have a great day
