Glitter frame
This was the trail card for a glitter challenge, I used the dragonfly delight keepsake frames from Tonic Studio. While it fit the challenge fine, I finally chose a different card and am happy to add this to my card stash.

Just a note with foil
My card today is for the challenge on CCEE Stampers blog, where hostess Frances asks us to try a technique.
A few months ago, Jennifer McGuire shared a technique using embossing folders. Let’s give it a try. You can find Jennifer's tutorial here.
I have used copper foil card stock for the base card and Couture creations - Drifting Endless embossing folder. I added distress inks to highlight the areas after sanding. I then used the same inks to colour a piece of card before die cutting the sentiment. I die cut a circle panel using Sunny Studios - fancy frames and the inlaid them together to create the background for the sentiment. I the added an extra sentiment from Mama Elephant - cherry blossom branch stamp set.

Spring Butterflies
Hi everyone,
It's a brand new month on the CCEE Stampers blog. Which means our new challenge hostess for the month is Frances
Just like Slimline & Mini Slimline cards, the 5 x 7 inch card size is becoming more and more popular. For this week’s challenge create a 5 x 7 inch card.
I haven't really thought about making 5 x7 cards before, but they are an ideal size for showing off designer paper backgrounds.
I like this bright designer paper is super paper for a spring card, so I added some die cut butterflies for the theme and a die cut sentiment for a fun card.

Rockin Dance Records
Today I am sharing the card that I have made for the CCEE Stampers team challenge CCEE2131.
Today is Vinyl Record Day! For many Vinyl Records are a thing of the past, but in recent years they have started to make a big comeback with even new albums being released. For our challenge this week it's all about music … bonus points if you included an image of a vinyl record on your card.
Don't forget to check out the CCEE Stampers blog to see the rest of the creations the CCEE Stampers have created this week. You can also see more details of their creations on their individual blogs.

Happily Ever After Day
Hi Crafting Friends,
Today is Challenge day with the CCEE Stampers design team.
May 20th is International Tiara Day, and also the birthday of Queen Victoria. So, get out your crowns, gemstones, and gold to see what you can create that would be fit for a queen. Maybe it might be a card or crown for your favorite little princess in your life, or maybe you love the look of Victorian styled art and decor.
My Daughter recently asked my to make a card for her friends wedding. They have been friends for many years since meeting while working at Disney World. The one request was that it be Disney themed, well I chose Cinderella after all it is a Happy ever after story.
I created my card starting with some designer paper covering the card before adding the Karen Burniston Flip Frame pop up, to animate the castle on the frame. I added the Happily ever after die sentiment in gold card. I then added a place for a hand written sentiment using dies.

Glitter Lace
This month on the Crazy4Challenges blog it is my turn to be the Hostess with the challenges.
I had some time to do a bit of trivia research and came up with this idea.
The month of June derives it name from Juno, the Roman Goddess of marriage. It was thought that couples who married in June would be blessed with prosperity and happiness. Brides seem to have lace on their dress so please create a card with Lace …either Real or Faux.
I have create a Faux lace background using micro fine glitter. Using a piece of wide patterned lace I attached it to the card with double sided tape. I then added the micro fine green glitter and rubbed it into the tape so that it adhered though the lace pattern. I then pull off the lace and added black glitter over the green and it adhered to the exposed tape. I then attached the die cut piece, cut out of the white base card.

Just a note to say
I created my stencil background using Altenew Sunburst stencil and distress oxide inks. Distress oxide inks are great for stencils as they blend so well.
I added 2 layers of the die cut sentiment and also some Nuvo drops to complete the look.
For the inside of the card I created another stencil panel and completed the sentiment.

Party Like a Rock Star
Happy Birthday, Elvis!! (8th January) Liz is challenging us to make him come alive in some way on our cards this week.( Maybe a rock and roll theme, records, an Elvis or guitar stamp, or perhaps even “Blue Suede shoes.”) Anyway you can think to let the world know “the King” of rock and roll.
