Sunshine Poppies

Today is the challenge C4C595 on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog.

Just like Slimline Cards, Mini Slimline Cards are also becoming very popular, for our challenge this week create a Mini Slimline card. Typically Mini Slim Line Cards are either 3 1/2 inches x 6 inches or 3 inches x 6 inches.

I have made this mini slime line card using the Gina K designs stamp - timeless Poppies. I have coloured it in with copic pens and added pearls for embellishments.

Thread the needle

Today on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog is the C4C594 challenge.

Tomorrow will be Thread the Needle Day. For our challenge this week incorporate the theme "Sewing" into our cards. Use sewing theme images/words; Sewing themed patterned papers or actually sewing of any type on your cards.

I use the quilted backdrop die with some designer paper for the background. I found this die in my stash, when this die first came out it had some matching bead stickers. I stamped the image onto the background and onto white card, after colouring it in, I cut it out and using foam tape squares I placed it over the background one.

On the inside I added the pop up Hello and a stamped image and sentiment.

Supplies:
Penny Black - stitches
Lawn Fawn - Oliver's stitched ABC, quilted backdrop, Pop up - Hello
Spellbinders - die and pearl sticker

Hey there Brownie the Cow

My card today is for the challenge on the CCEE Stampers blog.

It’s Cow Appreciation Day! Put some kind of farm animal (cow or otherwise) on your card.

For my card today, I had found this designer paper in my stash for such an occasion. I wanted to show the designer paper off and not cover it up as a background. So I dusted off my old sizzix die. This one was designed by Stephanie Baynard - card circle flip -it die.

I used Brownie the cow die designed by Karen Burniston from her Elizabeth Craft Design days.
On the inside I added the coordinating die set.

Dotty Christmas in July

I made this card for this week challenge CCEE2127on the CCEE stampers blog. When I thought about making this card the things that stuck in my mind was for dots, (obviously I read the challenge incorrectly, in creating a card using the letters D O T S Y for inspiration. But still wanted to add it to the challenge) so I found this designer paper that I have used for the background, it had some lovely glitter dots.

I have made a Christmas in July card with the snowman, with a dotted scarf and dotted top hat. Dotting around the snowflakes around the background.

The stamp images are from Beccy's Place.
