Farmers Market

This week on Crazy4Challenges we have been asked to create a card with the Farmers Market in mind.

What’s in season to eat at your farmers market? Make a card inspired by your local harvest. Even if it’s 6 months ago for the Southern Hemisphere. You can but don’t necessarily have to use the actual fruit or veg. You can just use the colours or textures. Like pink and green or pink with black dots for watermelon. Yellow plaid or use a square stencil for corn etc.

I have had this image for awhile but it is a favourite. I stamped the image and coloured it and stencilled the background. I have used the Cherry Lyn step die to create the base card and it has extra dies to cut the designer paper panels.

The designer paper stack had these cute sentiment panels, this one just matched the stamp so well.

Just showing the side view of the step.

Friendship

Today I am sharing the card I have made for the CCEE2134 challenge on CCEE Stampers blog

Today is Dog Day! For our challenge today, include an image of a dog on your card.

I have been saving this stamp set for an occasion like this, little dogs on a boat so cute. I found the background paper in my supplies.

Treasure the Memories.

The moment I saw Karen Burniston do the double high tag tutorial a few weeks ago and I knew as soon as I had the time I just wanted to give it a try.

I followed Karen's tutorial on how to use her Tag Book pop-up die to create the double high tag book.

I found these small antique photographs in my stash, just perfect for today's challenge on the CCEE Stampers Blog.

CCEE2132: Apparently today is Photography Day. For our challenge this week include something on your card that is photographic related … a photo/photos; images of photos, cameras etc.

I decorated the front of the card with some of the small tags is the die set and added the fabric flower, pearls and photograph and the sentiment.

When you open the card out pops the photo wall of memories. To create the border frames I used the rectangle frame from the slim frames die set just cutting it to suit the size of the photos. The hanging ropes were made form the decorating edges in the tag book die set.

Supplies:

Karen Burniston - 1150 Slim Frames, 1123 Tag book pop -up

Kaisercraft - sentiment

Rockin Dance Records

Today I am sharing the card that I have made for the CCEE Stampers team challenge CCEE2131.

Today is Vinyl Record Day! For many Vinyl Records are a thing of the past, but in recent years they have started to make a big comeback with even new albums being released. For our challenge this week it's all about music … bonus points if you included an image of a vinyl record on your card.

I made my card with an acetate front to show off the interactive element inside.

The Interactive element was made with the Karen Burniston die Rockin' Rectangle pop up. I love this dies set it is so much fun and a great surprise element.

I have also used from my supplies the Tonic Studio - Dance Tribute die and Sizzix - Juke Box and Music die set.

Sunrays

Today on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog the challenge C4C596 is to make a card with sunrays.

It’s the peak of summer in the northern hemisphere so sun’s rays beats down on us. Make a card or other project using rays but they don’t just have to be from the sun! Any ray shapes on your project are fine.

It is the middle of winter here and I am so looking forward to spring. I have used Lavinia stamps for my inspiration. I used the Honey Bee Ocean Builder stencil, using the rays for a on land theme in earth tones. I then stamped the Lavinia Stamp - Moments like these in black ink and heat embossed it. I then added the leaf and sentiment images around the edges and sponged the edges.

Supplies
Honey Bee - Ocean Scene Builder stencil
Lavinia Stamps - Moments like these, Berry Leaves, Words of Spring
Distress Oxide Inks - Scattered Straw, Wild Honey, Brushed Corduroy, Squeezed Lemonade
