Some fun making a birthday card for a fellow card maker. I scored lines on card and added distress inks, shabby shutters, brushed corduroy, weathered wood with the direct to paper technique. I then dry embossed the roses and highlighted it with peeled paint. Adding the sentiment and die cut leaves.

Embossed shell shaker card
I use the embossing folder to create the shell background. The embossing folder has a die in it to cut the Apture around the embossed shells at the same time as the embossing. I sponged the embossed areas with the distress inks Mustard seed, rusty hinge, peacock feathers. Once that ink was dry I went over the raise areas with black ink. Behind the Apture space I added some acetate and using the piece cut out for the background part of the shaker card.

Thinking of you Poppies
I made this card with a watercolour background using a clear block and distress oxide inks. I then stamped the outline of the poppies in black ink. Then filled the flowers with distress ink. I die cut the sentiment 4 times, gluing them together for a stacked sentiment. I added some nuvo drops to finish the card.

Take Time to Celebrate
This is the final CCEE challenge for 2022.
In fact, it has come to the time that the CCEE Stampers team to hang up their ink pads and stamps, so this will be our last challenge.
While I have only been on the design team since June 2014, it was a blog that I liked to follow for inspiration since 2009 when I started my own blog. I, in fact did not even know when the original team, started and that it was previously call Cheers & Challenges Eclectic Ensemble.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your continued support of our challenges every week, and I hope you have found some inspiration in our challenges.
Time is counting down to the end of the year, and I so I am asking that your feature clocks on your card. Think of time clocks, stop watches or even a countdown clock anything to do with time.
I created the background using Distress Oxide inks Kitsch Flamingo and broken china, and distress ink wilted violet. sponging it through a stencil. I then used the wood mounted hero arts tag stamp - H4777 Collage Take Time and heat embossed it. I then added the die cut sentiment and numbers.

Penguin z fold
My card is for today's challenge on the CCEE Stampers blog.
Apparently August is Peach month and Monday 22nd August is National Peach Day, so for our challenge this week create a card that features one or more things that begin with the letter "P" .. A punched image; patterned paper; pansy; paint; person or a product that is from a company whose name starts with “P”.
I started this card by making the background using the northern lights background technique. Blending together distress oxide inks, mostly pink and purple with a little of green and blue. I then folded the base card into a z fold. Starting with a base card 12 x 12 scoring at 3 and 6 folding the front 1/2 back. Then adding the inked panels before adding the oval on the edge.

Shades of Blue
Good Morning Crafting Friends.
For my card I went stash diving into my supply of older products from My Favorite Things.
I made some background paper with several shades of distress oxide inks and used the Karen Burniston Pattern Plates to die cut the paper.
I then stamped and die cut the dandelion images adding to the card, along with the sentiment and some pearls for embellishments.

Christmas Lantern
Hi Crafting Friends
It is time for the last challenge of the month with the team on Crazy4Challenges.
Let’s add some texture with a dimensional liquid or paste element on your card. Some examples are texture, crackle, molding or embossing paste, glass bead gel, Liquid Pearls, Nuvo Mousse, Nuvo drops, Crystal Glaze or Glossy Accents (used dimensionally rather than as a glue).
I created the back ground using the brick stencil and sponging on various inks, while the stencil was in place I added transparent matte texture paste in certain places for a distressed wall.
While it was drying I assembled the die cut elements. Once the background was dry I added the die cut elements to make a scene.

Magic Garden
This week on CCEE Stampers blog our challenge is to create a mini slimline card.
Just like Slimline Cards, Mini Slimline Cards are also becoming very popular, for our challenge this week create a Mini Slimline card. Typically Mini Slim Line Cards are either 3 1/2 inches x 6 inches or 3 inches x 6 inches.

I then used the Lavinia stencil Laurel and added lightly the chipped sapphire ink. I then added Mooch the cat with heat embossing. and added the Fairy Lantern and fairy. I then added the orchard grass along the edges and sponged chipped sapphire to the edges.

Music inspiration
It is time to join the team on Crazy4Challenge for their challenge C4C604.
Be
inspired by your favourite song to create your project. Please be sure to list
the song with your entry. You can be inspired by the title, the lyrics, the
overall theme or genre of the song.
My chosen song is Cover me in Sunshine by Pink and Willow. It is such a lovely song and they seem to have so much fun making the film clip.
I created my card with the Lavinia stamps Fairy having music fun in the sunshine.

Sunrays
Today on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog the challenge C4C596 is to make a card with sunrays.
It’s the peak of summer in the northern hemisphere so sun’s rays beats down on us. Make a card or other project using rays but they don’t just have to be from the sun! Any ray shapes on your project are fine.
It is the middle of winter here and I am so looking forward to spring. I have used Lavinia stamps for my inspiration. I used the Honey Bee Ocean Builder stencil, using the rays for a on land theme in earth tones. I then stamped the Lavinia Stamp - Moments like these in black ink and heat embossed it. I then added the leaf and sentiment images around the edges and sponged the edges.
