International Hot Air Balloon Week Let’s shake the gloom of winter by filling the skies on our cards with bright and colorful hot air balloons. An uplifting and encouraging sentiment would be a perfect pairing for your balloons!

Birthday surprise

Today we are adding a ribbon to our cards for weeks's challenge with the design team on Crazy4Challenges.

For the inside on the card I made a cup cake pop up for a birthday surprise.

Supplies
Beccy's Place stamps
Karen Burniston - 1008 - Cupcake pop-up
 stitched circles - various companies

Ice and Glitter

Today the CCEE stampers design team has been issued with a chilly challenge.

Ice, Ice, Baby, Ice, Ice Baby, it’s cold outside. Let’s see those icy creations!! Add your glitter and shine to make some shimmery winter beauties.

I wanted to used these cute little winter mice, but then I found this beautiful designer paper in my supplies and I wanted to use that also. So the inside had to be decorate too, I just love having the inside pop up and the pivot panels are just great for this.
For the front of the card I just used some extra elements for a simple lead in.

Supplies:
Lawn Fawn - Stitched Hillside border, mice on ice stamps, forest border
Karen Burniston - Gift Pivot Panel, snowflake charms

Escaping fire

The challenge today with the CCEE Stampers design team, is to create a card inspired for Book Publishers Day.
Create a card which features characters, a theme, or a quote from one of your favorite books!! Bonus points if it is on the current best sellers list!!

My favourite Author is Nora Roberts I have a lot of her books in my home library, there are so many that some times it can be years before I am able to reread them.
One of my favourites is Chasing Fire, which is suitable in the todays climate. With so much of Australia on fire and help being sent from oversea country, I have used this for my inspiration.
It is sad to so much devastation and loss of wildlife.

This is a review it received, when it was released in 2012.

In this #1 New York Times bestseller, Nora Roberts delves into the world of elite firefighters who thrive on danger and adrenaline—men and women who wouldn’t know how to live life if it wasn’t on the edge.

Kick & Bend it

I was recently asked to create a soccer themed card for a 10year old. I wanted to use this old clear stamp image and I found some fun paper in my supplies. I added some die cut pieces from the paper stack on the inside.

I have been wanting to do this layout for awhile. My friend Karen Aicken came up with the way to use Karen Burniston pivot panels, she has show that it works great with the train pivot panel, you can find a link to Karen's card here. But for my card I have used the gift pivot panel and it works just as great.

Today's Challenge....
Brrrr, it's cold outside in most of the Northern Hemisphere or it's quite warm in the Southern Hemisphere.  Do a winter-themed card if you live in the north and a summer themed card if you live in the south!

Always Emergency Ready

Welcome to today's challenge card with the CCEE Stampers design team.
While it is Law Enforcement Appreciation Day in America and I am in Australia I decided to stretch the challenge.
Over the last few months we have had some devastating fires in Australia and a huge thank you goes out to include all emergency services and volunteers who have helped out those affected.

Law Enforcement Appreciation Day In the United States, January 9 is a day set aside to celebrate police officers by thanking them for their public service and showing them support. Let’s help out by creating a card to thank these dedicated servants. To spread the word, post your cards on all of your social media accounts.

Summer ball pop up

Welcome to a new year of challenges with the design team on Crazy4Challenges.

To celebrate, we are challenging you to try something new on your project.  Either a new-to-you product or technique.

I thought it was a good time to tryout the Surprise ball pop up die from Karen Burniston.
This is a fun die set for anyone who loves fun interactive cards.

It does take some time to assemble this card so rather than have me explain it. I will post the link to Karen's youtube video, you may have the need to watch it several times as I did, but it was easy after that.

I have use the Flap & Closure dies for my base card and inside I have decorated it with the dies from Karen's flower pot die set (retired) although the woven basket box pop up has similar flowers.

Supplies:
Karen Burniston's youtube video
Karen Burniston - Surprise ball Popup, Flap & Closure, Flower pot pop-up (retired)
Elizabeth Craft Designs leaves die, gem stones, flower brads, designer paper.

Hello Summer

Hello crafting friends, Welcome to 2020. I hope everyone had a Happy end to 2019 and a great start to 2020.
tToday is the start of challenges with the CCEE Stampers design team. Lynn has a month of fun challenges to start with it is bring on the heat. Well it has certainly hot here in Australia, while I type this I am thinking of the people  and animals devastated by the terrible bush fires in the south of the country.

It’s June in January Some of our fans may not realize that two of our CCEE Stampers Design Team Members are living down under in Australia. Their seasons are the exact opposite of ours. They have always gone with the flow and designed cards to conform to our climate. Let’s turn the tables this week and make some summery cards they can put to use right now! Bring on the heat!

It is summer vacation time and a favourite  spot is to head to the beach so I have used this for inspiration.
I have used the Lawn Fawn shadow box die for my card today. I also added some add ons and the palm tree border dies.
Santa was kind to me and I received a Brother scan & cut for Christmas, I used it to cut out the Sunny Studio images.
I finished off the card using sentiment die cut from Karen Burniston.
