Floral Alcohol inks

Hi Crafting Friends,

This is the card I made for the challenge on Crazy 4 Challenge blog.

Challenge - C4C573 Tomorrow (28th February) is Floral Design Day, for our challenge this week create a card that features a flower or flowers.

This is the first time I have tried a mini slimline card and it is kind of cute I will probably make some more. I made a background using the polished stone technique that I had learnt years ago. Using alcohol inks and a blending tool on gloss card.

I heat embossed the stamped images onto the inked background and fussy cut them out. I then used a alcohol ink blending pen to lift some of the ink off the leaves as I wanted to keep the purple theme. I didn't add any other ink, by lifting the ink I gave it differ shade on the leaves.

I folded back the front of the card to give it a different look before added the die cut piece. I finished the card by adding the gem stones and the sentiment strip. I then added a large polish stone piece inside and another flower and continued the sentiment.

Supplies:

Ranger Alcohol inks - Raspberry, Salmon, Pearl Enchanted, Pearl Intrigue, Pearl Villainous, Pearl Mineral, Adirondack Wild Plum.

Spellbinders nestabilities die

Uniquely Creative - Kasia's Doodles Flawed & Fabulous stamp set

Follow your Dreams

 Hi Crafting Friends.

This is my card for the CCEE Stampers Blog Challenge - CCEE2108

Fairytale Madness We all have been huge on fairytales in our childhood (the inner child in us still adores them). Create something featuring your favorite fairytale/ carnival or a circus! The choice is yours.

For my card I chose Hero Arts, as you wish and build a castle stamp and die sets. To animate the card to tell the story I have used Karen Burniston's Rocking Rectangle pop-up.

As you open the card the castle pops out. I wish I could workout how to add a video to my blog, this is such a fun card to see in action.

Whiskers flying high

Hello Crafting Friends,

Today on CCEE Stampers blog, we are celebrating Love your Pet day.

With the  CCEE2107  challenge – Love your Pet It is love your pet day. Make a project that highlights a pet animal. You can add children with pets also.

I created a slimline card using dies. I stamped the images and masked them before sponging in the clouds with a stencil, that I have made from a die cut. I then coloured the images with copic pens.

Supplies:

Pinkfresh Studio - slimline dies

Honey Bee Stamps - Oh my Whiskers

Floral Hearts Slimline Pop-up

Hi Crafting friends

Today's challenge on Crazy 4 Challenges, hostess Frances asks us to create a fun fold slimline card for the C4C571 challenge.

Interactive/Fun Fold Slimline Card - last year Frances included Slimline cards in her challenges … let’s step it up a little by creating an interactive or fun fold Slimline card … think Gatefold; Double Dutch Fold; Bridge Card; Sliding Pop Up; Easel; Pop up etc.

Last month I fell in love with a card made by Karen Aicken, called Rainbow Hearts Slimline Pop up I just wanted to recreate it, luckily it suited today challenge.

When my dear friend was diagnosed with breast cancer I wanted to make her a special card, to let her know I was thinking of her and thought of Karen's card.

Using floral designer paper from my stash, for the background, I added the die cut flower on the front of the card.

Inside I matched the hearts to the paper and the sentiment was die cut in glitter card.

Supplies:
Karen Burniston dies -1102 -word set 10 thinking of you
1088 - Heart Pivot Panels
My Favorite Things - Plentiful Petals Die-Namics (retired)

Yesterday 5th February was Weatherperson’s Day. Create a card that features some form of weather … sunshine; rain; snow; cloudy etc.

It is still summer here in Australia so my card was inspired by hot summer day relaxing on the beach. I Have used the Lawn Fawn stamp set - on the beach and a Honey Bee outdoor scene stencil.

Happy Mail

Today I am sharing the card that I have made for the CCEE Stampers blog challenge CCEE2105.

Thank a Mailman Day Who doesn’t love a happy mail? I am sure every one of us is doing a happy dance when we have something landed at our doorsteps. However, this happiness would not have been possible without the mail men who are all the time on the roads, roaming and locating people with their loaded trucks. So, why not thank them for delivering our packages? Create a project which showcases a mailman/postman, a letter box, letter, mail truck, envelopes.

For my card I pulled out my supplies of Penny Black stamps and found this one with a different way to deliver the mail.
