Today's challenge with the team on Crazy 4 Challenges blog is Love.
Today I am sharing the card I made for the CCEE Stampers blog challenge CCEE2104.
Warm and Cozy Many of us are experiencing very cold days during late January. Feature on your design something that makes you feel warm and cozy even on the coldest of winter days.
Whether it is hot or cold I love snuggling in with a good book. I created this slimline card with designer paper as the background. I stamped and coloured the My Favorite Things images and cut them out with the Brother scan n cut.
Hi Crafty Friends
Welcome to today's card made for the CCEE Stampers design team challenge CCEE2103
Time for a Good Belly Laugh National Belly Laugh Day is coming up this Sunday! We all need a good laugh these days so create a card that will have us all laughing out loud. Bonus points if you make me spew my coffee on the computer screen when I see your card!!
My card was made to highlight the sentiment. I created the background using distress oxide inks, Squeezed Lemonade, Wild Honey, Scattered Straw, Dried Marigold, Abandoned Coral, Crackling Fire. I made a stencil using a circle die and clear acetate for the sun image. Once all the background was dried I added the trees and birds from Gina K Framescape tropical skies stamp set.
I then stamped the sentiment from Verses Rubber Stamp Company in black ink on vellum, carefully heat setting it. I then assembled all the layers.
Hi Crafting Friends,
Some time ago I saw the team from Lavinia Stamps making cards using two stencils and distress inks to create a background.
I started with the Lavinia fairy stamp and white heat embossed it. I then created the background by blending distress oxide inks. Over that I used a cloud stencil and black ink blending the ink to create shadows, a bit like the northern lights technique. I then placed a die cut acetate circle over the fairy, I then used the Lavinia stencil flourish and blended the edges. I polished the card to pop out the white embossing and I then added some liquid glitter for highlights.
Hi Crafting friends,
Welcome to today's challenge day with the CCEE Stampers blog design team. We are celebrating National Dress Up your pet day.
Today is National Dress Up Your Pet Day. In honor of this grand occasion, feature an animal of any kind dressed up in the clothing of your choice. Add a fun sentiment to cheer up an animal-lover’s day! Brownie points if you share a picture of your pet dressed to celebrate on your blog today!
The inspiration for this card is our dog Molly she really doesn't like dressing up the only time we managed it was for her birthday.
The card is made using all dies. I started making the frame and using the stencil option I added some ink with a stencil brush. I then die-cut the background and the little dog adding the princess crown. The the die cut sentiment.
Happy New Year! Well I hope everyone has a Happy start to 2021. Today is the first challenge with the design team on Crazy 4 Challenges.
Our challenge is to celebrate the New Year by creating a card or project using something new! New technique, new product, new style, etc.
I recently purchased some of the Lavinia products, as I discovered at the end of last year using two stencils to create you backgrounds. This is the first time that I have applied ink to these product and I had so much fun creating.
I applied the inks through the stencil, then I did the stamping in black ink and heat set the whole card. I then added the Nuvo aqua shimmer pen to the mermaid tail and add some gold and silver gel pen to the hair. I then added the sea grass to fill in the edges.
Supplies:
Lavinia stamps Althea , Sea Creatures, sea grass
Lavinia stencils - coral, pebbles,
Stampendous -sentiment
distress oxide inks - brushed corduroy, speckled egg, stormy sky, shabby shutters. Nuvo aqua shimmer pen
