Tribute to Joanne

My card today is a Tribute to Joanne. Joanne passed away suddenly in May.

I first saw Joanne's cards when I joined Splitcoast stampers, to me she was the queens of paper piercing. She loved the beach and lighthouses.

I met up with her when I join the CCEE stampers team and again in the Crazy4challenges team.

Pool Party

Welcome to this week's card made for the Crazy 4 challenge team challenge.

Fancy fold cards are totally awesome! This week let’s try a tri-fold card. There are several different types. But they all have at least 2 folds and at least 3 panels.

I have made a tri-fold card with an interlocking centre.

Sea Life

The CCEE Stampers challenge card for today, we have been asked to create a card that has some kind of fish or sea life on it.

I have used the Karen Burniston Rockin Rectangle pop - up die along with the Avery Elle stamps set to create my card. I also used some lovely sea themed designer paper.

FGM Waterfall

My card today is for the challenge that I do with some friends each month we challenge ourselves to use our supplies. This month our challenge is to create a waterfall card.

I used Karen Burniston Frame Pull pop-up die set to make by card. All my stamped images are from Mama Elephant.

Colour combination

Today on Crazy4challenges we have a colour combination challenge.

I heat embossed a stencilled background on white card with clear embossing ink. I then used distress oxides for the colours and used floral die in gold card.

Supplies:
Simon says stamp folkdance stencil, clear embossing powder, distress oxides ink worn lipstick, twisted citron, broken china, squeezed lemonade, paper roses happy birthday die, floral die free in the Die-cutting essentials magazine issue 33, gold card

Quilt stitching

Welcome to today CCEE challenge Lois is our hostess this month.

Today is National Sewing Machine Day, and I asked the team to make a card with some stitching on it either actual stitching, faux stitching or stitch-edged dies.

For my card I have used the Lawn Fawn quilted Backdrop with the free stamp and die set from the Simply Cards & Papercraft magazine issue191.

Tumble and Flip

Welcome to this weeks challenge card for the CCEE Stampers team challenge.

Lois is our hostess this month and says this is the 60th anniversary of my graduation from high school -- June 9, 1959. So the challenge for the team this week is to make a card depicting their favorite subject in school.

I can't say I really had a favourite subject at school so for my card today I went with the one I really didn't like at all. I am totally inflexible and uncoordinated so when it was time for gymnastics class I wished I was somewhere else.

I have used Waffle flower tumble on stamp set and the lawn fawn magic picture changer die.
