CCEE1445 Moustaches

It is a new month and a new CCEE stampers hostess, I have been on the design team since June and this is my first time hosting. I hope every-one enjoys my challenges.
This week my challenge is to create a card that features a moustache to celebrate Movember - A Global Movement raising funds for Male issues.

When I was at our local craft store I found this fantastic wrapping paper that I just had to have.
For my card today I have used the Katie Label Accordion Die, Designed by Karen Burniston for Elizabeth craft designs.
The main photo image of this gentleman is from an Oxford Impressions set, that I have had from the years when the only unmounted stamps were available in red rubber.
The middle panel was die cut and embossed and while the die was still in place I used a fine black marker to define the embossed area. The sentiment is a from My Favorite Things.
On the last panel I layered the Katie Label pieces to write my own message and I think this gentleman really needs a hat, so I used the hat from the props 1 set.

Now pop on over to CCEE Stampers blog to see what all the others have created and don't forget to add your own creation for us to see.

Have a great day

  1. So masculine and so awesome, Maryann! Thanks for this fun challenge!!

  2. Gotta tell ya, Maryann...when you issued this challenge, I was kinda worried! But, man oh man, look at all these beautiful masculine cards. Yours is above and beyond. Thanks for a fun challenge!

  3. Lots of moustaches on this :) .... Love it!

  4. Wonderful Vintage image for this challenge, Maryann. Love the gb dp!

  5. Super guy card, Maryann. I love the derby hat you put on the third panel.

  6. What a fun challenge that was that you had for us, Maryann. There have been some super-cool masculine cards made for it, and this is one of them. My favourite bit is that little hat you've "hung" on the corner of the sentiment panel.

  7. fab fancy fold and wonderful dp....esp love that sentiment....we should all say this each morning
