Hi everyone,
It is challenge day with my friends on the CCEE blog, this month I am hostess and this is my challenge for this week.
According to the National calendar today is National Fibromyalgia Awareness Day
It is a chronic disease that I have, it is often called the invisible disease because you don't look ill, there is no cure but maybe some day they will be. So Please make a Get Well card and add a purple ribbon.
My images are from a Kanban clear set, I have used a copic pen to colour a white ribbon to match my card stock.
Don't forget to check out the CCEE Stampers blog to see the rest of the creations the CCEE Stampers created this week. You can also see more details of their creations on their individual blogs.

NATIONAL FIBROMYALGIA AWARENESS DAY
Each year on May 12, millions of people observe National Fibromyalgia Awareness Day. This day shares the spotlight with other May 12 awareness days such as International Fibromyalgia Awareness Day, Fibromyalgia Awareness Day, International Awareness Day for Chronic Immunological and Neurological Diseases or International Awareness Day for MCS, ME/CFS and FM, which are observed globally.

ReplyDeleteMaryann, what a cute imagine to use this week! This was a great challenge this week and done for those who suffer from this disease. I have a few other friends that suffer with it too. I hope this will make more people aware of the pain of those who suffer with this diesease.
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet image you have used for this challenge! Maryann, thanks for bringing this disease to the awareness of others. I have a few friends who suffer with it and have brought it to my attention over the past years. I had never heard of it before that. I admire you for being creative even while enduring this pain. I know one of my friends just doesn't even want to get out of bed some mornings because of the pain.
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet image!
ReplyDeletehahaha I see we both used the same image on our cards this week, I guess seeing we buy so much the same it isn't surprising. Fab card!

ReplyDeleteWishing you the best as you struggle with this difficult disease!
