Rolling into the season

Hi, It is challenge day with my CCEE Stamper friends.
Our June hostess Liz says "Summer seems to just be "rolling" right in. This week is going to be a technique challenge to use a brayer. You can google "stamping techniques using brayers" to get some fabulous ideas to try. If you don't have a brayer, try some other things that can roll on ink or paint! Be creative and have fun!"
Well it is certainly not rolling into Summer here in Australia but into Winter. I live it what is called the sunshine state as it mostly warm and sunny but this first week has seen our morning temperatures drop to 1ºC= 33.80000ºF  we never see snow but there has been some falls in the southern states.

For my card I had to dust off the brayer. It was nice to pull out a tool that I used to use a lot. I also dusted off all the other items to make this card. To make the background I used the brayer with Kaleidacolor dye ink on semi-gloss photo paper. And used some wood mounted Stampscapes rubber stamps to create this early morning scene. Making it into a birthday card with the Happy Birthday stamp.
Thanks for looking, don't forget to pop on over to CCEE Stampers Blog and follow this links to the other team member's cards.

  2. Whatever seems to be rolling in weather wise, I love how you showed us how great a winter scene looks making use of a brayer too. I seem to forget that the whole world is not in my time zone and season. LOL We have had more than our share of thunderstorms rolling in my part of the world.

  6. What a fabulous scene - a great masculine card, always handy to have! I love the colours in the sky - they remind me of Greece.
1C - that IS cold for you. My BIL lives in Sydney - while having the motorbike cover freeze to the bike here is not uncommon for my husband, I think it's only once ever happened to my BIL.
