Squash card

Today's card is a squash card it is a fun card that folds into a smaller envelope.
For the insert paper I cut a square 20cm x 20cm folded into quarters and then diagonal, taking the diagonal corners and bring them together making the paper into a teabag fold. Glue the back square onto some base card, on the front bring the top corner down to the bottom.
Then just decorate your front panel making sure just to put your glue on the bottom triangle so that it opens up like and explosion.

Supplies:
Stamps: Penny Black -clear set wonderful
Paper: Cream & Pink card and DP
Other: Spellbinders dies, brad, copic pens, MFT  flower trio die

Twisted Easel Card

I have been wanting to try this card for so long, I love making the normal easel cards, this is made the same way with a bit of a twist. The base and the front are made the same but when you come to folding the base inside of folding the top in half you fold it into a diagonal. There are many variations and lots of tutorials on youtube.
For the front of the card I stamped the image twice and cut out certain pieces and using the silcone glue I paper toiled them. I then die cut out the fancy tag and embossed it, while it was still in the frame I sponged the edges. I then removed the die and used a stamp positioner to place the verse. I t was all then assembled adding the flourish.
Supplies:
Stamps: Stampavie Toby with love, verse - stampin up
Paper: River rock, chocolate ship, white card, DP - GCD debonair collection
Other: Shapeabitities fancy tags 2, Cherry Lynn designs tropical flourish, ribbon, silcone glue, bit shot, tan embossing mat, stamp positioner, copic pens, sponge dauber, coffee bean ink, foam dots, bow maker.

Blooming Flower

This card was made with my first Whimsy stamp that I received for my Birthday last month, isn't she just beautiful. I also got the felt from MFT to use with their dies, it really makes a difference using the right felt and not the stuff from the $2 shops.
And once again I decided to do the inside of the card, it really does finish the card.
Supplies:
Stamps: Whimsy Stamps, verse- Art stamps Australia

Paper: rose red, yellow and white card, DP - Imaginisce
Other: felt, MFT die-namics rolled mum, ribbon, copic pens, button, Fleur de lis border and rectangle nestabilities

Domo Arigato

Hello there it has been awhile but I think I am back in the swing of things.
I made this card for My Favorite things Wednesday sketch challenge MFTWSC60 . This was awhile ago but I had no idea what the phrase meant, so I did a Wikipedia search a found it means "Thank you very much" which is good because I had it lined up as a Birthday card so I will just put it into the Thank you collection.
I used MFT PI- Good Fortune set and stamped the image and cut it out with circle nestabilities and nellies die, then coloured and paper pieced the dress with some oriental paper, the floral background was made with rice paper. I used MFT mini Tabs quartet and Martha Stewart border punch and then added a few gems.
Have a great Day

Diamonds are forever

This is the other card I made again I use My Favorite things sketch for inspiration MFTWSC57. I coloured the image with copic pens and paper pieced the dress with  designer paper and the used more copic pens for shading. Although you can't tell with this photo the designer paper I have used on the background has felt embossed flowers on the cream card, it looks really elegant. This edge is a Martha Stewart border punch and the flower is once again the MFT Prima Donna Petals Die-namics die the edges were sponged with Antique Linen distress ink.
I even did the inside of the card as many people seem to be doing these days. I does seem to give something extra to the card.
Supplies;
Stamps: MFT - a'la mode "It must be Love"
Paper: DCWV La creme stack, black and cream card
Other: ms punch, copic pens, sizzix swirls die, nestabilities dies, kindy glitz, gem stones, MFT Die-namics, distress ink.

Perfect Engagement

This week I had to get some inspiration I had 2 engagement cards to make. Of course I knew exactly which stamp I wanted to use so I looked through past Wednesday sketch challenges and chose MFTWSC55 and made it into a easel card, I just love the way it stands to display your work.
The image was coloured with copics and the dress paper pieced with the same designer paper as the background. This is the first time I have used the MFT Flower die that I got for Christmas and I just love it, be prepared to see more often on my cards. The create to oval for the text I just traced the inside of the nestabilities die and cut it out by hand and then rubbed out the pencil marks for the perfect fit.
Supplies;
Stamps: My Favorite Things -  A'la 'Mode It must be Love', sentiment  Gina K- punchy words
Paper: DCWV - designer paper, white and black card stock
Other: MFT Die-namics, nestabilities, sizzix die, gems, copic pens, Kindy Glitz
