For our challenge 1508 on CCEE Stampers this week Sabrina has another bit of Trivia.
Interestingly, because February is a short month, there can actually be years in which there is no full moon at all. The last time this happened was 1999, the next time will be 2018. So while this is not one of those years - feature the moon on your cards.
Supplies:
Stamps: Stamp it Reflection pool, Sentiment Taylored expressions, stampscapes - branches
Distressed inks, sponging tool, cloud stencil
You can find the challenge creations on the CCEE Stampers blog. Add your creation there and link it back to your site, so that we can see.
Cheers
Maryann
Beautifully colored Maryann, loved seeing this in person yesterday :)
ReplyDeleteI love this dreamy card, Maryann! Your colors are perfect!
ReplyDeleteThis is just lovely -- great coloring. It reminds me of the Florida Everglades.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful scene, Maryann!
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous scene with your moon and cloudy sky, Maryann! Such a wonderful card of encouragement!
ReplyDeleteThat is one wonderful stamp! It makes me think of some of the descriptions I have read in a series of detective books set in Australia. While you might have like your sky darker, I think it's lovely. The problem with trying to portray a real dark night sky is that then everything else is so muted! Thank you for adding such a beautiful moonlit scene this week, Maryann.
ReplyDeleteI love it....and your clouds and moon!
ReplyDeletewhat a fabulous scene....LOVE your sky
