Bendy shadow box card

 

This card was inspired a tutorial from Sam Calcott on her Mixed-up craft page. It is called a bendy shadow box card.

I think I made my first shadow box card probably more that 15 years ago, so it was fun revisiting the design with the added bendy piece.

Since the snowman set was on my desk, it was calling me to use it again.

The card fold flat for postage.

Slimline Floating Cube Card

I recently watched a tutorial from Sam Calcott - mixed up crafts. Sam has done a mini series of floating cube cards in various sizes.

This is my take of the slimline floating cube card.

You can fold in the sides, to fit in an envelope, it folds fairly flat and should post in a standard size envelope.

 

Holly Jolly Christmas

 This stamp is my go-to stamp when I need a snowman image. It has been sometime since I have created a stamped background on my cards. I paper toiled the image for some extra dimension. It was so much fun, and I was really happy with how it has turned out. I made this for a snowman swap, I hope the recipient enjoys it.

Sending Christmas wishes

 This card was made for a postage theme swap.

The products I have used, came free in papercraft essentials magazine, some time ago and this is my first chance to use it.

This is my take on a card that was featured in the magazine.

Baked with love

 This card was made for a in the kitchen theme.

I had this Mama Elephant stamp set, with the cute critters that matched the theme.

I created the background with designer paper and some foliage themed stamps, and added some ink sponging around the edges.

Cocktail hour

 It has been some time since I have shared my creations. While I have been creating, I just haven't been updating this blog for some time. 

This card is for a friend's request, something for a cocktail party.

I stenciled the background with pink ink to keep the colours in a fruit cocktail theme. The cocktail glasses were fussy cut out and mounted on foam tape. I added nuvo drops as embellishments.
