Garden Month

     This week on CCEE Stampers blog, hostess Joanne continues the choose the challenges for this month.

When    I    think    of    April    I    also    think    of    flowers….spring    is    here    and    flowers    are    blooming.        That    is    probably    why    April    is    National    Garden    Month.        Make    a    card    that    includes    floral    or    garden    images.

Tea Cake

Welcome to this weeks challenge with the Crazies from Crazy fro Challenges.

Yesterday was Tea Day … so for our challenge this week let's incorporate something Tea related on our cards …. Not into tea then what about coffee!

What is a cuppa without something sweet to go with it?
This stamp from Stampendous with the tea cup and and cupcake, just looks the treat for this challenge.

The card flat for posting.

On the inside I have used this doily designer paper to showcase this tea set die from cottage cuts.

It is just simply a few scored fold lines to create an easel card. The top of the coffee pot is mounted on foam tape to act as a stop for the easel.

Night Fairies

The card I am sharing today is one of the cards I made for the challenge I do each month with my friends. This month's challenge was Fairies. I made 3 cards but the others will appear on my blog over the next few weeks.
I used distressed inks for my background and all the stamps are from the Lavinia stamps range.

Space Advenutre

April    is    also    Global    Astronomy    Month.        Create    a    card    having    to    do    with    astronomy,    such    as    moons    and    stars,    but    not    limited    to    that.        You    could    also    fantasize    about    alien    creatures    and    space    travel.        Use    your    imagination….Dazzle    us!!!  

I decided to make this fun slider card to show case these cute stamps. Even though there are specially designed dies for this technique I just used two different sized circle dies. I attached the spaceship with foam tape to a button so that it moves around the planets.

Rainbow Party

Welcome  to a  new month of challenges with the Crazy 4 Challenges team. Frances our challenge hostess from last month, continues to host the challenges this month.

Monday  3rd April is Find a Rainbow Day …. So let's make rainbow card this week. Note you don't have to include a real rainbow unless you wish …. Just a card that is multiple colors. It is up to you whether you stick to true rainbow colors or not.

I found this wonderful designer paper in my supplies, it is just perfect for this challenge, when I found this set of ponies, on my last craft shopping trip, they reminded me so much of the little ponies that my girls had when they were young, that I just had to use them.
