C4C351 - Holidays

Today I am joining my friends on Crazy for Challenges. This is Hostess Jessie's challenge
" All my favorite holidays are coming up, so why not get a jump on one of them!! Make a card for one if the many holidays coming up, be it Christmas, Thanksgiving, Halloween or Hanukkah."

Christmas is the only upcoming holiday for my worth celebrating, so here is my card.
I used a cute Penny Black image and Elizabeth Craft Designs Fitted circles and Stitched Circles
Suzanne Cannon Quietfire designs - Merry Christmas. The Merry Christmas was made with 4 layers the last one done with Micro fine glitter in Bright Cranberry.

Sweet Monkey

Today's card is for a challenge I do each month with a couple of friends. Each month we get together to share ideas and have fun. This time round our challenge was to use any of
Karen Burniston designs - Character dies to create our cards.
It just so happened that I was asked to make a card featuring  a Monkey.

Even though there is a Monkey on the card front I wanted to use this designer paper and the Happy Birthday Pop up inside and I just had to add another Cheeky, Jinks the Monkey. Since the card was for a two year old I decided to highlight the die cut number 2 with the Anita Frames pop up and Labels & Circles.

Supplies:
Happy Birthday pop up
Props 2
Outdoor edges
Jinks the Monkey
Labels & Circles
Anita Frames Pop up
Lucy Label
Palm tree die

Carrot Collector

Today is challenge day with my friends on CCEE Stampers and here hostess Liz's challenge.

According to research, it is More Herbs, Less Salt Day!! Herbs and plants add so much to our lives, so in honor of this unusual day, make a card with an herb or plant on it. I know we have lots of followers who love gardening, so any of these images would work great. You might even want to add colors that are named after herbs and plants: sage, thyme, lavender, cinnamon, nutmeg, mint, celery, olive, or cocoa, as well as all those you can think of. Have fun with it.

I couldn't find anything with a herb theme so I went with vegetables that go well with herbs. I started with 2 pieces of designer paper 6 x 10 , joining them with double sided tape so that it had the same image on both sides. I then used the Rectangle Pull Card , Basket Barrel with pop up and carrots from Lucky the Rabbit designed by Karen Burniston  for Elizabeth Craft Designs . The sentiment is designed by Susan's Garden Club. The girl on the front is from Penny Black designed by Mo Manning, carrot collector.

Flying by to say

Our challenge on CCEE Stampers was to create something with man has made fly in the air.
Franklin D. Roosevelt issued a proclamation to make it National Aviation Day, to honor Orville Wright. Bonus point if we made a birthday card to celebrate what would have been Orville Wright's birthday this week.

Today I have used the Oval pull card designed by Karen Burniston  for Elizabeth Craft Designs with the spinner piece from the Rectangle pull card set. Also cloud dies from the all seasons tree and the Hot air Balloon set. Art Impressions stamps for my main images and the sentiments

Go for Gold

Hi Everyone,

It is Jessie's time to be hostess this month on Crazy for Challenges. Jessie's has asked that we to make a card either inspired by the Olympics colors: the red, blue, black, green, and yellow, or you can make a sports related card!!

And, since it is a new month, we have a new guest designer. Please welcome Danielle Vincent.
Alexis Crossland-Smith has agreed to stay on with us for a second month as guest designer.

For my card I have chosen Cycling as my sport and Australia's green and gold for my colours.

In the inside of the card I have used Karen Burniston designed dies for Elizabeth Craft Designs.
The Lorna Label and the posts for the Lots of Pops the banners were cut free hand.

Quilting Sisters

Challenge day with friends on the CCEE stampers blog. Liz is hostess this month, here is her challenge.
"  As many of you know, or perhaps you don’t, Lynn and I are sisters. When we were asked to join the CCEE team at the same time, we both thought it would be fun to be doing this together. So, for your sister card, find an image of a pair or group of ladies or girls who just might be sisters doing things that sisters like to do. "
