C4C325 Spring - Autumn

  Today is the last day of challenges this month with the crazy 4 challenges team.                                        
Spring is just around the corner, so let's see some Spring themed cards. For those of you "down under", feel free to do an Autumn themed card.

Spring and Autumn are my favourite times of the year,  it is possible to the same activities in either season. On lovely days it is a pleasure to play outdoors.

                                         

For my base I made a Tag card using Elizabeth Craft Designs Tags & More 9 die, to show case this cute Penny Black image.

A Basket full of wishes

Today is Challenge Day with my Friends on CCEE Stampers Blog.
 Today we were asked to create a card using a floral theme.

I made a pop up card using the lots of pops die designed by Karen Burniston for Elizabeth Craft Designs.
For my floral image I used Stampendous Rose Bouquet stamp set, Karen Burniston designed Basket Barrel die and stencil. The verse in the top corner is a old wood mounted fern gully stamp.

The front of the card was kept very simple with just die cut words and glitter.

I have used Couture Creations intricutz dies- Father & Son fishing for the front of this card.

I made the inside a pop up card using the Lorna Label die designed by Karen Burniston for Elizabeth Craft designs.

Better with wine

FGM - Mini Stepper

Today I am sharing a challenge card that I do with two friends of mine. Each month when we get together we go to our favourite craft store then we challenge ourselves to create a card for the following month.

Last Month we all purchased the Tattered Lace Magazine which had this mini stepper die for free on the cover.

The card made using the die is pretty small as you can see by the blending tool I have put beside the card. I have used several small dies to create embellishments.

CCEE1606 - Animal Hearts

This week on CCEE Stampers, Lynn challenges us to have some fun with hearts.

"Way back when I was in grade school, every Valentine’s Day my classmates and I had such fun creating Valentine Critters to decorate our Valentine boxes. The task for today is to create an animal of any kind on your card in which you use heart shapes for some of its body parts."

I only had one die set of hearts that was the the Heart Pivot set by Karen Burniston for Elizabeth Craft designs.
I made Lucky the Rabbit's country cousin using various pieces from several die sets.
Heart Pivot - all body pieces
Jolly the Mouse - nose
Whiskers the cat - eyes and whiskers
Poppy Owl - feet pads
Accordion Rectangle - tail
Lucky the Rabbit - carrot and teeth



I couldn't resist adding Lucky the rabbit in the inside.

Snow much fun

Hi Everyone,
It is Challenge day with friends on the CCEE stampers blog,  Lynn is our hostess this month.

Many of us are having icy or snowy weather (or are dreaming that we do) now that February has arrived. My challenge for you is to create a project which features some activity unique to the cold months of winter.

Here at home we are in the last month of summer and feeling it with some very hot days. But this week our daughter left to work in London. I am sure she will have so much fun and hopefully see some snow.

I have made a fun accordion card using Karen Burniston designed products from Elizabeth Craft designs.
