Prima Paris Dog

Ever since I saw this cute little dog on a card my friend Frances made I just knew I wanted him. You can see Frances's card here.
On the Front I have also used the Eiffel Tower and Paris edges dies designed by Karen Burniston for Elizabeth craft designs  The Eiffel Tower has been embossed and highlighted with gold pen.

For the inside I have made a Happy Birthday pop up and also used the  Paris edges and Katie label dies.

CCEE Farm animals Challenge

Challenge day on CCEE Stampers and it is Anne's last week as hostess. Our CCEE1513 theme is March goes out like a lamb (we hope!), so the theme is farm animals if you don't have an image of a lamb.

I cut the rectangle accordion twice out of blue card and 4 times out of designer paper, I then stamped my image and coloured and die cut it with the Katie accordion and another in blue card. I then separated the center pieces from the designer paper & white panel. Adhered them to the blue panels, added the verses cut with the dies matching from the Rectangle accordion. I then added the die cut flowers and flourish and added the gem stones.

Here is a close up of the front panel, the card folds flat for postage.

Supplies
Stamps: Stampavie, Taylored Expressions.
Elizabeth Craft Designs -  Katie Label Accordion, Rectangle Accordion, holly flourish, flower set 2, candle

Don't forget to go over to the CCEE Stampers blog to see all the other creations.

Island Dreams

I had so much fun making this card. I made it using all dies, usually there is a stamped image in there somewhere.
I cut the palm trees once in brown and then green and just trimmed the green part to over lay on the brown.
I then created a Happy Birthday sticker using dies and double sided adhesive.

I made this card for my friend's special birthday, Frances has a huge collections of owls, so I just had to include one. To make the center pop up, I have used the base pop dies from the Eiffel Tower Pop Stand. I then cut two palm trees and two Poppy the owl glued each piece to a stand piece and then attached the to each other on the top so that it looks the same either side of the card. That way it lies flat when the card is closed and then pops up for a nice surprise when you open the card. I then finished front and back of the inside panels identical with the Beach edges and Props 3 sets.

Dies are sold by Elizabeth Craft designs and designed by Karen Burnitson

On the inside I have used the same supplies as the front, but have made a pop up card using the  Eiffel Tower pop up die designed by Karen Burniston for Elizabeth Craft Designs. I added the Rubber Romance French Mademoiselle.

My Lucky Dress

It is challenge time with my CCEE friends. March's holiday is St. Patrick's Day and Anne has asked us to make a card using the color GREEN.

Yeah my favourite colour and who doesn't think of the luck of the Irish when they see green.
For the front I have used an unmounted rubber Irish script and purchased glitter 4 leaf clover leaves.

Inside I have made an Irish dress with petticoats. I have used the Stampin up Dress form die and Elizabeth Craft Designs Lots of pops both designed by Karen Burniston

I also added some more clover leaves and a map of Ireland.

Here is a close up of the dress with its petticoats and gems. When my daughter did Irish dancing the dancing school kept their costumes very simple for they displays and Ceilidhs, many of the costumes were sown by the Mothers group.

Wild animals again

Hi Everyone,
I had some leftover papers from the card I made the other day, still on my desk so I made another card for CCEE Stampers challenge 1510 this time with the Katie Pivot die, also designed by Karen Bruniston for Elizabeth Craft Designs.

For the trees I have used the All seasons die and paper pieced the leaves with designer paper.

CCEE1510 Lion/Wild animals

Welcome to another CCEE Stampers Challenge. Our new Hostess for March is Anne Harmon and Anne says there is a saying "March comes in like a lion."  So Anne has challenges us, this week is to make a card with a wild animal theme.

I don't know about wild but this lion sure is cute.

For the inside I have used the Lorna Label pop up die, designed by Karen Burniston for Elizabeth Craft Designs , to create a double platform, this is a favourite die and I love this technique. The designer paper is from DCWV and the images are Kanban stamps.

Thanks for looking, remember to go over to CCEE Stampers to see all the other teams creations.
