Twins turn one

Today my Twin great - nephews turn one. It is hard to believe that they have gone from this tiny to the happy and healty boys they are now.

Beacause the boys are identical my niece like to keep them in certain colours just so you can tell them apart. Kobe Bryce is the one on the left and this is his card. My first attempt at a round easel card, it wasn't as difficult as I first thought. I stamped my image and coloured it with copics. I then used Plaid dimensional glass finish tint over the star to make it pop. Then used nestabilities to cut out the shapes and then just assembled them. You can find some instruction on splitcoast stampers resource files I made this z fold card for Dylan Blake, I stamped the image and coloured it with copics and used dimensional tint on the ribbon and spots on the present. You can find insrtuctions for the zigzag fold card by following a link that I posted last month

Just the two of us

In February I entered a card into the Card of the Month competition on Boomerang Stampers List a yahoo group for stampers from Australia and New Zealand. I got the biggest shock of my life when they announced my card had won. This is my card the theme was animals, the prize was the knowledge that when put to the vote other people did enjoy my cards. Plus my card would grace the web page for the following month plus then I chose the theme for the next cotm challenge.

There seemed to be some interest with constuction cards and several posts had links, so my theme for march was fun folds. You are allowed to post 2 cards each so I made 2 different one a easel card and a zigzag card.

This card was made for my sister's birthday and I had posted it previously on her birthday.
Stamps: Stampavie, Papermania

Paper: blue, white chocolate, DP

Other: flowers, nestabilities - labels 9 & Lacy Squares & squares, copics, brad, corner rounder punch, chocolate ink

Flowers for you

Ok for today's project I used 2 new items and 1 that I have only used once. I picked up this cute stamp and Designer paper last week when I went craft supply shopping with the girls from club. They must to be fairly new to Australia this is the first time I have seen them, they are from the a UK company Trimcraft the Fizzy Moon Celebrations range, they are so cute and I am looking forward to using the rest of the range. The nestabilities die is great for framing an image, I also used giltter on the flower centres to make them pop. This card is called a zigzag card and instructions can be found on Stampowl's Studio

Paper: DP- Fizzy Moon Celebrations, chocolate & cream card.

Is it Friday yet?

Have you ever had a week when all you can think of is it friday yet? I know I have and that was certainly last week. I wished I could have just stayed in my PJs all day. I stamped my paper pretties image, coloured it with copics and paper pierced the dressing gown. Cut it out using nestabilities label and sponged the edges for the layered effect. The circle love heart die is also from spellbinders and the scallop border die is from MFT. The stamps used for the background are from Hero Arts.

Tea & Love

When I was at club the other day Frances gave us a shoe box challenge, this it to show that I did my my homework and had a lots of fun. I have been looking at the rose flower on MFT and now I may just buy it not just have it on the wish list. Thanks Frances I am not sure where all the supplies come from but I think the stamp is from the Cat's Pajamas, there are some nestabilities, MFT mini rolled rose, punched leaves.
