C4C334 Colour combo

Welcome to another challenge with my friends on Crazy 4 Challenges blog. Rebecca's challenge this week is a colour challenge using the colours in the photo below as your inspiration.

                           Source - Design Seeds http://design-seeds.com/home

For my card I chose to create a pop up card and finally used the die I received as a birthday present a couple of months ago.
I used the Cup pop stand set this set, Karen Burniston designed for Elizabeth Craft designs.
I cut a base piece with the pop up stand component of the set in cream card while the die was in place I used it like a stencil and sponged bundled sage distress ink. I then attached it to a folded card, added the cup and flourishes, the spoons were cut from shimmer sheetz.

On the front of the card I used the half circle die, circle and flourish dies and coffee stencil and all stamped images are from Taylored expressions.

A couple of aerial views of the card fully open.

A close up of the cup.

You can see Karen's tutorial on the cup pop stand on this link here.
Supplies:
Karen Burniston designs
Katie Label

Coffee Stencil

CCEE1617 baseball

It is challenge time with my friends on CCEE Stampsers blog. And Anne has the last challenge for this month.

" I'm reminding you all that it's baseball season again (YAY!).  Promote your favorite team, their colors, or just use a baseball theme."

Now I don't follow baseball so I don't have a clue about team colours, but I did have this cute cute bunny playing baseball and stuck with the blue and red colour theme.
For by card I decided to make a four page accordion booklet, using Karen Burniston designed dies for Elizabeth Craft Designs.

I combined several stamp companies to decorate this card, some of them are wood mounted and from discontinued companies.

Supplies:
Elizabeth Craft designs accordion circle die
Stamps: Daisy and Dandelion, Hanna Stamps,Stamping Bella, Stampabilities
copic pens, foam tape, distress inks.

C4C333 Double Diamond flowers

It is the last week of April challenges with Rebecca on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog.

April Showers bring May flowers! Please use some springtime flowers on your card or project this week! I can't wait to see all of your daffodils, hyacinths, tulips, crocuses, cherry blossoms and all the others I've not listed!

For my card I have used the Tattered Lace Diamond fold die to create a double diamond fold. I had seen this on the Tattered Lace website and couldn't wait to give it a try. I have used My Favorite things mini rolled roses and a flourish die to match my rose designer paper.

C4C331 Textured background

Challenge day with the team from Crazy 4 Challenges and Rebecca has a fun challenge for us to try.

This week, lets get brave and try a new technique. Apply any type of paint, embossing or modeling paste or liquid medium (like gel medium or gesso) through a stencil and while you medium is still wet, apply some glitter! Using a wet medium has the happy side effect off keeping more of your lovely glitter in place and far less of it where you don't want it! Try white on white for a lovely tone-on-tone effect or jazz it up with more than one colour of glitter. Use this as a focal or as a background. I can't wait to see your creations!

For my background I used a sponge blending tool to apply abandoned coral and picked raspberry in random spot blending as I went. I then sponged a layer of wilted violet through the scribbles stencil. Then I added a layer of inka gold paste through the flourish stencil and while it was wet I added silver micro fine glitter.

I applied the Elizabeth craft designs dragonflies stickers to adhesive glitter foil which I had applied to white card and coloured them with sukura glaze pens. The dragonflies where attached with foam tape and a die cut Happy Birthday finishes the card.

Supplies:
Distressed inks - abandoned coral, wilted violet, picked raspberry
Tim Holtz stencils - Flourish, Scribbles
Elizabeth Craft Designs - peel off stickers, micro fine glitter, happy birthday die.
Viva inka gold texture paste, sukura glaze pens, foam tape, sponge blending tool, adhesive glitter foil.

C4C330 spring baby animals

Today is challenge day with the team from Crazy for challenges team Rebecca Ednie is hostess and her guest hostess is Teresa Kline from Paperie Blooms, welcome Teresa

This week Rebecca designed a challenge with Spring in mind. I hate winter and am so happy spring is finally here. Spring brings Baby Animals so use some little critters on your card or project. They can be baby animals or just small images.

For my Baby animal image I chose this cute house mouse with a baby duckling. It is a wood mounted stamp that I have simply had for years.

I made it into a interactive card using the spiral circle pull card die and pull card edges, designed by Karen Burniston for Elizabeth Craft Designs

I find that my girls need baby cards for their friends so I made this into a gift card for my supplies.

Supplies:
Karen Burniston designs
Spiral Circle ring pull
Eiffel Tower pop stand
copic pens
